Ok guys. How do I turn that medium blaster spriteset into an Rle file? I downloaded the EnRle file and it gave me a disk error, you know the "such is life" one.

I could pop it into EVNEW, but then someone would have to convert it.

I had to use pict. The others all gave me an error about my version of quicktime being to old. Which it probably is, I'm running OS8 for goodness sake! When my harddrive went KABLOOEY it bumped me back clear to OS8!

I made my own pink blaster and rle'd it. Its in res format all set to go, different ID and everything. I've emailed it to you (hopefully). Also hope that the pink is really pink, I'm kinda color blind and reds are hard for me...

Ha! I'm among the color-challenged, too! Wouldn't it be something if we just simultaneously produced two blaster shot RLE sets that were both actually non-pink?

(Come to think of it, how and when did Zaku's weapon go from purple to pink? I hope he'll go along with the change, or that the ship will actually have both, as I earlier thought it would.)

Tee hee hee.... We may have, I suspect mine of being somewhat neon-pinkish, but I can't be trusted to tell. Although, I emailed mine to him and had it compleatly set up so it shouldn't conflict with other graphics on NOVA.

I think Zaku shudder wanted a pink cannon and a purple wraith beam. Or at least that 's what they were saying up there /

Oh well, I think that Captin Phillips (hopefully that was his name) can deal with our color chalenged-ness. He'll probably edit it if he doesn't like it. (oh wait, that would defeat the purpose of our doing anything....)

I hate to double post, but I have something compleatly non related to the above that I wanted to ask.

I would like to ask if you could make me a ship that would much easier ( I think) than Zaku's (or any of the other ships asked for that I've seen and complained about ). What I would like is a station, with the main station part being stationary and the engine glow and some weapon rails moving to indicate direction. From what I've read, you can make only one sprite for the main station and the rails should be easy to make spin. I'd entirely give whoever end up making it credit, and I'll do the actuall ship data and stuff (duh...). I'll send a whoever is willing a preliminary rendering, and if you're able to make it mechanisto readable I'll render it, providing I'm given the nessesary data.

Oh, and I'll be using the station as an addon plug, one ship and several weapons, the ship is the station.

Sounds like the Pegy, it was like that.

The pink blaster is something different.
I was told that if the weapons on the sides were beams as well as the center cannon all three would alternate from the three Beam exit points. To get around that problem and make the side weapons look good along with the purple beam I decided to have my new guns shoot pink mblaster shots. This will look sooo cooool!
