Windows plugs

I am a windows user obviously and I was curious what plugs for windows were out there, if you could please post there names and a breif description of what they do, that would be very much appreciated. I am very pleased with the plugs I have found, most created by Cunjo. I have a feeling there are more out there. I can't seem to convert plugs anymore because my plug converter is screwed up and it refuses to convert mac plugs anymore.

Thanks for the replys.

The world today is absolutly bonkers, with nuclear bombs that can blow you sky high...

I typed ".rez" into Space Pirate's plug search engine (link in my sig), and it returned just pages 1-3 from the ASW EV Nova add-ons list (sorted by date), so there you go -- you've only got 3 pages to search for pre-converted Windows plugs; everything before that likely pre-dates the release of EVN for Windows.

But I want to (re-)open the bigger debate.... The Crow says "my plug converter is screwed up and it refuses to convert mac plugs anymore." How common is that? How big a hassle is it to fix and/or re-download? When the converter is working properly, how much trouble is it to use it? Is it worth the server space (our own and Ambrosia's) for plug makers, including Mac-based ones like myself, to provide both PC and Mac versions of all our plugs?

I'm not rabidly anti-PC, and I'm not trying to be harsh to you personally, Crow, but I'm not going to double-list a multi-megabyte plug on the add-ons page if the annoyance to ASW and EVula is greater than the benefit to Win EVN players. 🙂

The only problems I've encoutered with converting plugs (as a Windows user) have been Stuff-It issues, uncompressed files on the add-ons page, and illegal characters in the plug-in name. The first is entirely avoidable if, as I believe Azratax2 has suggested, developers submit/compress files as zip's. I'm pretty sure this protects the file, and just about any compression app can open it. For the latter two problems, there's not much that can be done at this point.

Otherwise, conversion is as easy as drag 'n drop.

I second that about the ease of conversion. Prehapse crow's problems are somewhere other than the converter itself?
On the topic of plug distribution:
Spesificly, i reccomended that mac plugins be mac-binary encoded, and then zipped (zipping alone wouldnt work).

Can PC decompression utilities other than Stuffit handle un-mac-binary-ing, or is that difficult for non-techies?

And, before I get accused of totally hijacking this topic, does anyone know of PC-ready plugs that aren't on the ASW add-ons page, for Crow?

Edit: Still also interested in more PC-user testimonials on my earlier questions, too....

It's the contrary: PC users NEED to have the plug mac-binary-ed to feed them to the .rez converter. Now, the .bin file itself can be posted any form anyne like it. .sit works as Stuffit for Windows (well, the 7.5 at least, other are rumored to be less reliable) offer at uncompression the option to keep the file that have been compressed with the .bin encoding so as not to trash the resource fork.
