feature requests for EVONE

I'm a die-hard ResEdit user, sticking with the templates vs the tools made for use with resEdit, but EVONE has that juicy GUI for map editing, so I gave it a try. A few wishes:

*Ability to show govt affiliation via colour. It doesn't need to be the snazziness in the Nova engine; it'd be nice if the circles representing the systs changed colour.

*Ability to show/hide systems that have their visibilities dependant upon mission bits.

Other than that, the map editor is quite nice. WIth these additional features, I'd gladly pay some $ just for the map editor.

I think this is possible , we'll have to hear what Jeffery (ariossw) says about it , it might be done.
This will eventually be a feature , if I recall correctly , but don't expect it too soon , it will be made in conjunction with the mďsn editor I think. Right now EVONE displays all instances of a system , so if you drag one you might see a system under it that is exactly the same , this is the other instance of the system.

We have a number of cool idea's for mission bits that will be extremely useful. But since there is nothing solid yet I'm not at liberty to discuss it (yet).

I all can say is excellent answers by Entarus. As for the govt coloring, I do want to mimick the Nova glow coloring, and I know how to do it, but it will take some time to do and is not high priority, so it will be a while.
