Auto Journal

Is it possible to make a plug-in that would act as an auto-journal, recording every message in the journal automatically without pressing the button or J? I would find that very useful, has anyone made one?

I understand I might have to remove a lot, but I like a lot in there, and forgetting to record a key message is really annoying.

It won't work. To be able to auto-capture every dialogue box, one would have to have the source code for PoG and every plug-in which has dialogue and then it would be a tremendous task. Better just remember to copy what you want to keep. The player's journal will be huge very soon. You might consider taking screen shots to be able to sort them into logical order.

One thing with the journal that I have always found amusing was at the beginning when you collapse in front of the gaurd, to record what he says next. In other words, you colapse, suddenly get the energy to write his call for the inn keeper in your journal, then you collapse again

Maybe the guard is nice and writes it down for you...

There are definitely some things in the game where you need to suspend your disbelief.
