This should be in the Developer's Corner.

Damnit Slagbah, I try to post and it's not even there.
First you need to go to the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/addons")addons page(/url) and download the tools if you haven't already done so. You're going to need a copy of (url="http://"http://www.resexcellence.com/support_files/resedit.shtml")ResEdit(/url), which is a Mac only application. If you are using a PC, you are stuck without the tools unless you use an emulator.
The tools themselves should come with instructions on how to install them. At first it can seem tricky, and put off new users. Ones that's done it's pretty self explanatory. The Bible that came with Nova should explain pretty much anything you need to know.
You can also try David Arthur's (url="http://"http://davidarthur.evula.net/mc.php")Mission Computer(/url) if you want an easier to use editor. It lets you edit most resources, including mďsns, the heart of Nova. ArioSW also has (url="http://"http://www.ariossoftware.com/products/evone/")EVONE(/url), the first full-featured purpose made Nova editor.

You also absolutely must read the Bible if the plugin making app is to make any sense. -Az (the EV:N Resource bible, that is - its in the documentation folder)

Hah! I downloaded EVone and tried it one time, forgot about it for a month, and the next time I opened it to really give it a shot it took two minutes to load (cause of the crippleware crap) and everything was basically locked out too, so I couldn't even do anything about testing it.
Really good strategy to get people to pay... I use novatools instead. If the hard way isn't worth it then the easy way isn't either... Especially when people want you to pay for it.

EDIT: Okay, I thought that instead of having a bitch at Arios, who probably put a lot of hard grit into making evone, it's better for me to think of a solution. My main problem is that I can't sample the editing tools because I'm blocked out of them by crippleware. So what about this for a solution: It cripples them over time still, but instead of completely vanishing them away where you can't even try them out, it just stops you from saving changes to that particular template or resource (eg: Weapons resource, spob resource).
That way it's incentive to pay, and also allows idiots like me who download then forget to sample, and therefore want to pay. Frankly seeing "If you edit your plug with this and then don't pay you can't release it" just pissed me off. Basically you should say "Here is what I've done, you can use it for a while, but it eventually shuts itself off, if you like it buy it, if you don't then use something else."
This is just to balance out my bitch about evone, which I'm sure is a good program.Better to offer ideas than to criticise yes?

I appreciate your change in attitude
Are you sure you have PB 2? The demo system was overhauled with the release of PB 2 so that it only counts days on which you actually use the app. Your counter should only say 2 or 3, not two minutes worth.
In any event, download 2.1 from (url="http://"http://www.ariossoftware.com/programs/evone/download/")http://www.ariossoft...evone/download/(/url) and then visit the forums at (url="http://"http://forums.ariossoftware.com")http://forums.ariossoftware.com(/url) for a way to possibly reset your demo period. Those are all the hints I'm giving you
I hope you understand that in circumstances like your's the demo system is inherently unfair, but I do have to limit EVONE in some aspect to get people to register. I chose not to disable saving because I feared people would say that they were unable to make sure EVONE did not corrupt their plugins.
