Hi guys,
Having finally relinquished my spot as moderator on the Nova board to the mighty SlagBlah, I'm now a man at liberty.
Thus it is that I'll be hanging around here to try and answer any and all questions on Nova development. If you have any queries for me that might make your plug-in making easier, fire away!

If is possible to have a Point Defense Turret with submunitions? Or what are the limitations of the Point Defense Turret weapon type?

I believe that PDS shots can indeed submunition. I'll check up on it, and get back to you.

And here's the official word on the matter:
SubType   The resource ID of the weapon type to create as submunitions.       Anything except beams and fighters is handled.
It is for a chaf outfit for use over ECM's.

I really don't know why I'm saying this, since I really don't develop plugs, but anyway, whatever. I'm assuming you did all the work on the ship models, sháns and other such things, is there any possibility in you making a tutorial for making near Nova quality graphics? (Obviously the ship modeller will have to have their own techniques; probably best to leave that part out).

The process is quite simple, with but a few minutes in Photoshop you too can have the quality you'd expect for a Nova plugin!

That still doesn't help people in making a good model, the kind of nova quality. Actualy... I had a model that looked like it would be a great aur ship... But i don't have the kind of textures that make it aur hint hint
