I'm new at making plug-ins and don't know how to make sprites. Any help is appreciated.

First you need a graphics program. Then you need NovaTools (specifically "Sprites", there's a link to NovaTools in my sig).

If you have never used a 3D program, this will be long. If you want to make the graphics yourself, buy a 3D program. I suggest you buy graphics for this plug, cause 3D modelling usually has a steep learning curve

I'm not sure it'll help, but (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/monster/studio/lasik.html")this(/url) is a tutorial for the lasik technique used for EVN. It mentions use of a couple of the Wootware tool to create the spins as well. If you're not looking for EVN stuff, I don't think I can help, sorry.

There's a useful guide at (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/ewan/")Jules' Lair(/url) about rendering ships as sprites; it's designed for the first two EV's, though, but the process is basically the same, until you want to convert the rendered movie into Nova's Rle* format.

In that case, all you need is "Sprites", one of the NovaTools set of programs. Depending on how you rendered it (movie, set of picts), you use either m2s, or p2s. From there, you need EnRLE (another NovaTool).
