I can get you the model of the Hawk that I used in EVONE's logo. It was pretty good when I got it (I forget who from) and I fixed it up a bit, so it now looks relatively accurate. If you are interested, send me an email at ariossw@mac.com with your email address and I will send it over tonight EST.

Whaddya mean? Jeez, you never know, and as you said, "almost always". He might have wanted a model of a (bird) Hawk for a hood ornament for one of his ships, or something. Besides, the Hawk light fighter is an extremely simple ship. Why couldn't he have made one for himself? Just use an elongated sphere, a cone, four misshapen boxes (wings and twin tails), and another sphere, and tada.

I know, I was just being hard on you. It was fun, also, it's harder than it looks to make a hawk without modeling experiance, and it's also difficult to make one that can be viewed up close. All the same, you are right.
I imagine a lot of Hawk models have been made over the years. It would be logical.

I also figure that he's probably not going to go for an exceptionally high detailed Hawk, because it's not the main model. It probably wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour to make a reasonably good looking Hawk model that would suit his purposes.
And I apologize about that wisecrack, but it was one of those statements that just begged to get it. I kinda figured that he meant the Hawk from EV, but in a twisted way, the real animal hawk made a bunch of sense too, so that's what lowered my final inhibition about asking about the species.
