I think that it looks great. Indeed it needed to be updated, too. I was thinking that this was a EV and EVO developers forum only for quite awhile. Anyway, it's a cool little update and incorporates all three EV's. Nice work.

I know that I didn't submit any suggestions, but I do have some criticisms of this badge. First of all, that cube, while it looks cool, distracts attention away from the name of the forum, as well as the ship images. It's too light.
The ships, on the other hand, are too dark, and I almost missed them. I saw the Valkyrie, but I had to look really closely to find the Turncoat, and really really really closely to see the Corvette, which is almost hidden behind "Developer's Corner."
Another problem is that it's really black. I skipped right over it for the first few threads that I read, and didn't realize that something had changed for a while. This is probably a problem. I figure that if you're going to make a change to something as important as the logo for this FORUM, it should scream out to the people here "HEY! I'VE BEEN CHANGED!" Give it more color! Give it some reds! Oranges! Yellows! Blues! All we've got here are gray and very dark green. This does not scream. The old badge was filled with color, and anyone who came to the forum knew that it was there. This new one blends too much with the background. I'm not saying that the background of the badge should change. I'm saying that the foreground of the badge should be louder.
I think that the cube should either dominate the badge, and the other ships be taken out, or the cube be taken out, and the ships dominate the badge. Also, the words need to be bigger, brighter, and more colorful. Try this. Close your eyes for a few seconds, open them, and figure out what it is in the badge that you see first. It's the cube. You do not see the words until you look for them. The words NEED to be far more prominent in the image.

I agree, the cube should be given a 75 or 65 % opacity, Make it darker. I think it does distract a bit, which is too bad. Otherwise it's a very nice change, I like it.

I agree that (nude) the (nude) cube is too bright (nude). You could have (Mantaray) made the (nude) EvNova Valk like the target pics. That would have been cool. Verah nice though, best on the vote.

Why does it need to scream? No other boards' badge screams (indeed, they are all just of the game's logo, except for the Just boards).

Why? The badge isn't what draws someone to a board, the board is. You should be spending more time reading a board than staring at it's badge.

If you seriously can't -see- the badge, then that's a problem with your eyes, not with the image.
I do agree that the badge should be visible, I just disagree with your statement about it being practically invisible; it's quite visible, visible enough that I know it is there, but since I'm directing my attention at typing all of this, I'm not going to stare at it while I type (actually, I can quite easily, but I'm still not going to).

I didn't say that you couldn't see it because it's invisible. I'm saying that it doesn't stand out enough for a person to see it if they quickly look over the page. Well, enough about this.
I still think that it should be more colorful, or something. Those ships need to be worked on, because they're too hard to see, not only that, but the corvette is almost completely covered up by letters. Again, either: keep the ships and lose the cube, or keep the cube and lose the ships. The words need to be larger and more colorful, because they're the title of this forum, for crying out loud. The yellow words on the right side of the page stand out a lot more than the badge's title. I don't think that that's the effect you want. Again, if you're going to have a badge, it should at least display the title of the forum a lot "louder" than the title in the navigation section on the right.
