I tried adding a few new ships to Nova using NovaTools, and have got everything: Rle8's, RleD's, all the necessary pics, and descriptions, but I have NO CLUE how to get the ship resource to recognize them... I can't find a field to enter their ResIDs anywhere, and the game cannot find them. How do you connect the ship to the other stuff?

There is a specific formula to find the ID#s for descs and picts of a particular ship. I don't know them off hand, but I suggest you download novacalc, as it will do these calculations for you.
