Just a note: I approve of the idea of getting a new badge (to reflect Nova), and in fact suggested it a few months ago myself. However, there is no way of telling whether or not this will happen, so don't expect a thing to change yet. Keep up the hope though, and don't be afraid to post a contestant.

Mantaray and sparky: Like your ideas mrxak: I agree, an logo should also reflect Nova. So, how about someone including a Nova 'feel' to the logo? Is it possible to include elements of the design that make it clear the forum is not specifically for one only of EV/EVO/EVN but for all three?

Clean: You could have the old EV logo on fire, like Nova's; doesn't really solve it but whatever.
Hmm... I like sparky's, but it needs to be smaller and needs to be polished a bit.
If we get a decent number of good ideas, I will email andrew and draw his attention to it. I may have a go at one myself later....

yeah, I know, I made it in about 5 minutes. It's the right proportions, just needs to be shrunk.
Remember that the new one would have to look at least as good as the old one. Perfessional-looking and quite attractive. Just remember that we'll all have to look at it on an almost daily basis. Good work so far though. None of them are terrible ;).

Chuck the lens flare. There are better ways to make something look exciting than smacking a random flare on top of it.
