VOTE: New forumbadge.

Seeing as the New Web Badge-topic could drag on forever (and with an already declining interest), someone has to start a people's choice vote here. You have a deadline of 24 hours within this posting to submit your official entry. After that time has passed, I will edit this post to include all images and we'll start voting.

I've outlined some rules which you may also add to, disagree with and/or detract from during the same 24 hours.

1. This is not an official contest. I can not guarantee that the image will be accepted by the moderator. Hence a People's Choice-vote.
2. The image should be a GIF or JPEG (perhaps PNG too if no one disagrees) at a size of 226x100 pixels. Try to compress it a fair bit so we won't get an excessive filesize and wasted bandwidth. TIP: Use the optimized tab in Photoshop's Save for Web-settings to view what the image will look like.
3. The image should (of course) reflect that you are browsing the Escape Velocity developers forum.
4. You can submit a maximum of three images.
5. If you enter the contest you are not allowed to vote (just to make it simple).
6. We will use a simple point system instead of casting just one vote. Award points from 3 to 1. 3 points for the image you liked best, 2 for second best and 1 for third best.
7. Votes can be placed during a period of 5 days (until sunday I recon), whereupon votes are tallied, checked, doublechecked and a winner is declared.
8. Please refrain from commenting actual images, my objectivity, weather patterns, .mac, carbonization of avara in this thread. Well, at least keep it to a minimum. After the first 24 hours are up that is.
9. Be nice to eachother. Constructive critisism only. Encouragment is encouraged.
10. You do not talk about fight club.

Erm, why can't we have the vote on the topic that was made for it? Your rules seem to nullify the point of my topic, which was to get the best of the best for the forum. Your rules leave out the fact that we can make things better.

I think this is a bit premature. Interest is still building and plenty of badges are still being submitted to the "original" topic. Prehaps at a later date you can do this without redundancy.
