umm.. have you tried selecting a s˙st/spöb resorce and creating a new one? Or can you do that, but have no idea what the things mean? If so download the EVN bible. I don't have a link, but it's on the addons page if you look a bit. If you just get text gibbesish (without any convienent popup boxes when you make the resorce) that's a completely different issue.

Erm, I think he was asking how to do it, not what to download...
Hit Command + K, and type in"s p option+u o b" in the little text box. It should say spöb.
Now if you already did that, and are wondering how to make additional spöbs, just hit command+k while you are in the Res Picker thingumee.
Now you can double click on your spöb and edit all the things you want.

There is a guide that I highly suggest called TutorialsInS. It can be found (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=evn&category;=guides&display;=date&page;=1")here(/url), about halfway down the page.
Get the Nova Bible too, but this one helped me out at least with the basics. I needed the bible to tell me what was what and where to put things.

To edit resources for plugins, you need (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/~dr_ralph/")NovaTools(/url). Follow the instructions on how to install it, and you'll be able to edit your resources any way you want.

Do you have the editors installed in the ResEdit preferences file? I wasn't referring to EnRLE or m2s, but NovaTools themselves. If you're still getting hex, you might not have coppied everything from NovaTools to ResEdit.
If you're still quite sure, I dunno what the problem is.

I KNOW I installed NovaTools becuase I can edit missions, outfits, and view everything else. Just not spob and syst

Sounds to me like you've got corrupted preferences. You may want to trash 'em and start over.

Your download may have been corrupted. Re-download NovaTools. Make sure you get the 2 dots over the vowels. "ä ë ď ö ü ˙" You get this by pressing option-u and then the vowel that needs to be dotted.
