Well, some of you may have already heard about my big secret project I've been working on, and it's now in its second alpha build. Well, in the process of being built. Um, it's hard to explain just where it is in development, but it's on it's way!
Some hints: It will be a sort of tutorial, in that you see what I've done and learn from it. Some notes will be included to help you out. It's not the Manticore
So, guesses, questions, insane ramblings, they're all good, and I'll post updates as I work on this. For instance, you might post, "Why are you posting this?", or "Is it a new ship?", and I'll respond, "I just finished another top-secret aspect!", leaving you confused and annoyed. Enjoy!

I have run into an interesting difficulty. It may be solved using interesting methods, but the results may be varied. No real progress made, although I have thought about this a lot.

Anyway... I have determined that the current phase is now going to be called "Phase Two". I have made one 36K file. I have made one screenshot. The screenshot is less than 200K and greater than 2K, but definately not 36, 45 or 14K. I have added two "vers" resources to one of the files involved in this project. I have been awake for slightly more than two hours today (excluding the times between 12:00 and 3:00 am), some of that time has been used for this project. Some has not. This project is being code named "EGC-23" for simplicity.
Phase Two of EGC-23 is continuing nicely, although there may be another Big Secret Plug-in/Tutorial in the works soon. That is in Phase Zero however. It's code name is "TR-57".
In other words: EGC-23 is in Phase Two (current phase) TR-57 is in Phase Zero (current phase) Progress is good, but some problems and generalized laziness may delay some work.

And now on a more serious note, Project EGC-23 (currently in Phase Two) has faced a minor setback, due to, well, it's secret. But in any case, it should be okay eventually. Project TR-57 (currently in Phase Zero) is also progressing nicely in Phase Zero, and may someday pass into Phase One someday. This weekend may be good for that.

I don't think I'll get much more done tonight, but it's possible. I'm sure I'll get more done tomorow and Sunday. Whether or not I acomplish anything is irrelevant, as I seem to have to give updates constantly.

Update: Just got home from seeing Minority Report. It was not worth seeing. I will work some more on EGC-23 now. I may be busy tomorow though.

As a plugmaker, I'm actually quite interested in what this plugin will include and teach. Maybe it'll be of some use to me. Of course, maybe not.
Does anyone know how to make a weapon submunition upon impact with an asteroid? It can be done upon impact with a ship, but seemingly not with an asteroid...
