Thanks! Ace

I used to fiddle around with it, but found that it was as slow as a hibernating snail and the render time took forever. It did do some pretty cool effects, though.
------------------ Parenthesis: Useful for having notes within notes. (Always remember to keep these short and to the point, not long winded lectures, otherwise the reader will not know what you are saying. (Also note that parenthesis within parenthesis are sometimes confusing (when they end at the same time)) You must always close parenthesis (with a ) symbol) because otherwise it will confuse the reader even more.
What do you use now?
Ace
MojoWorld just irritated me. The way the software/software company presents itself is kind of obnoxious too. I use Bryce 5. You get much more control, and it's no-nonsence.

I have it, though its way to slow to render. WAY to slow...
Now i'm just trying to improve my landscaping skills so i can use strata to make my landscapes.

I tell you, the best software for landscapes is Lightwave (maya unlimited works well too). Yoyu get everything that you have in bryce, in adition, things can react with their environment, wind can blow trees and grass, a helecopter's blades can crush the grass under its wash. these programs make the really good looking terains, and put Bryce to shame. Bryce 5. You can download a demo at http://www.corel.com . In it you actually get some control over what goes where. Mojoworld can't do trees, or water very well. Bryce can. However, Bryce 5's render is still way to slow to render movies. (unless you have a dual Ghz G4 Tower or something)

Yet some of us don't have the money to buy $6000 software and a big huge PC to run Unlimited.
But I agree, Liightwave would be good for interaction. But Bryce 5 can import other 3D formats, so Bryce works mighty fine, too.

Doesn't MojoWorld have a demo or something? If someone provide a link to the website, I'd appreciate it.

It isn't a demo, it is a full product that allows you to render and explore worlds created by others. The website where you can download it is: (url="http://"http://www.pandromeda.com/")http://www.pandromeda.com/(/url) Have Fun. Joe
MojoWorld does have a demo. I have tried again and again to download the Bryce 5 demo from the Corel website, but, for some reason, every time I click on the download button, nothing happens! A helper file is supposed to download first, which when clicked on downloads the file, but nothing at all happens when I click on the button. I've e-mailed customer support and they said to try it again because they were having "technical difficulties." I did...same result. I've written customer service again. I wonder if anyone else has any problem with d/ling the demo? Several months ago, I was into "SimCity 3000 Unlimited." I was also on AOL and using Opera as my browser. I needed to download a few things from their site, but could not. I found I could d/l the files only after I quit out of Opera and used the AOL browser. However, I cannot use AOL to test this (since I am no longer with them). If anyone would care to see if the d/ler works at Corel, I would be very grateful. I'm sure by now you are curious as well.
Thanks y'all! Ace

Thanks for the URL, but it does have a demo (if not, I don't know what I'm downloading...). Maybe I'll get Cara addicted to doing these, so she can make some landing pictures for (url="http://"http://www.evula.com/shipyard/")my Shipyard.(/url)
You can download MojoWorld transporter, and MojoWorld generator Demo. Go to the products section, you should be able to get it there, good luck. joe

I can't download Transporter without buying it. I'm not willing to give up my money so quickly.
However, I am wondering about what the hell the different versions are: I just wanna render landing pictures. Which do I need to look at? I'm thinking that Transporter Pro would do what I want.
As I understand it, Transporter allows you to explore and render already made worlds. However, if you are interested in creating your own worlds, then Generator is what you want. For a limited time, you can get Generator 1.2 for $189. That's a saving of $60! I say go for it and get both Generator 1.2 and Transporter Pro.
Ciao! Ace
Oh...Well, a few months ago, they were giving transporter away, I got my copy then, it went goodbye when my drive crashed, and I didn't like it enough to redownload it. Sorry for the misinformation. Joe
