The wing looks way too thin... Notice that the closest wing (upper-right) is almost too thin to see.

Updated version - it's finished now, (yes, i thickened the wings Restorer :)), and posted in all its shippy glory.
Hate to be nitpicky, but I think that the wings need to be thicker still. At least between the body and the engine. The body doesn't seem long enough to me to be able to hold power systems, sensors, life support, the pilot, and fuel. Fuel is the main thing. Generally in today's aircraft, a majority of the plane's fuel is held in the wings. Also, doesn't it look a bit like the Star Wars X-Wing? Not saying it's a bad design, it's just that you kinda ripped it bad. I mean, it's got the four wings, an engine on each wing, and a laser (or whatever) weapon on the wing tip. The nose is long and thin, the cockpit is located just before the wing. It'd be neat to see more variation on the popular design. Maybe broaden the fuselage in the front so it looks like canards or something, and add missile tubes. Perhaps change the location of the engines. There's a lot you can do with an "x-wing" design to make it different from the X-Wing of Star Wars fame.

The thing that strikes me most is the distance of the wings from the body. If you maybe made them about half the length, they would look a lot better. also they could be a bit thicker still, not much as they would just begin to look chunkey. Texturing looks nice.
What program are you using? is it Strata?

Jules - Infini-D 3.1, j0. Now that i think about it, you're right about the wings. They should be shorter... (sigh, more work :p). Actually, the textures were downloaded from free texture sites - i suck majorly at textures.
(edit) Matrix, it's actually supposed to look rather like a star wars x-wing (star wars was the original basis for TGC). you're right about the issue of fuel->engines, i'll fix that tomorrow. Actually, there is a torpedo launcher on the bottom of the ship. it's hard to see though because only the edge can be seen past the main fuselage. (/edit)
Hmm, then I'll just have to make a fighter with the description that I gave you.... I think I like it.
I never noticed the launcher until you mentioned it. Weapons that are under the bottom tend to not be as interesting (because you can't see them!). Why not stick the launcher to the sides, or something. Some place visible (you can also make use of the "guided weapon" locations).

If u intend to make it look like a xwing, id suggest the following lengthen the fueselage, it looks really bad that short the wings are too far apart, it looks bad (babylon 5 on acid) make the wings a bit wider, they look really flimsy also, the cockpit could use some work
