Does anybody know how to make engine glows? I would really appreciate any help. FYI, I'm using ElectricImage.

Though I've never used EI, I can tell what I would do with Bryce (can't be THAT different). Anyway, I'd make the actual ship solid black without any diffuse color, ambient color, or specularity,reflectivity, etc. Basically make it a solid, invisible black mass. Then make the engine glow out of whatever you want (volumetric cone or whatever) and animate it along with the now invisible ship. Hope this helps you.
