Decimus' Tent and the Conjurer

Somehow I only just today realized that Decimus' tent restores only HP when used, not HP + MP like every other form of "sleep" in the game. I'm trying to figure out why that is. One could argue that it's because the tent was created before the release of Trinity, but then so were the inns in the game. So is this then intentional behavior? And if so, why? It certainly seems unfair to the conjurer that the swordsman and ranger both get to be fully restored to fighting shape for free with the tent, while he has to carry around dozens of magic potions to restore his own source of power...

I don't know what I'm talking about.

You're right Glenn, the tent and the inns were created before the release of Trinity. However, if I remember correctly, Trinity contains new locations for the inns or re-define the event that take care of recovering the HP to make it recover the MP too. It looks like we forgot to update the tent as well. It's something that could easily be done in a future update of Trinity.

If you move the nice lady's Elven Bed in Berglum, you also get only your HP restored. The difference in these events and a room in the Inn is mainly financial. You pay for the service at the three Inns and the Pink Termite Resort, but the tent is a gift, and the lady only has you help her once while her husband is out of town. You also pay handsomely for a room in the Mage Tower. I don't know where old Fungus fits in this pattern, I think he just loves to have company. I'm certainly not going to quess why.

It's been a while since I've played the Ranger, but I seem to remember he had to carry a supply of magic potions too, or was it just flowers and seeds?

Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Stark's new plug-in!
