Okay here's the Klaxion heavy fighter. (url="http://"http://www.grand-novice.com/TempImages/Klax-Fighter.jpeg")http://www.grand-nov...ax-Fighter.jpeg(/url)
Don't think I will be getting much graphical work done until the weekend though. I've been doing more experimenting than anything with 3-D elements during the week to keep my mind off the world. Then on the weekend use the best outcomes of those experiments to build whole vessels.

It looks cool and consistent with your other Klaxion ships.

It's very ugly, yet awesome (if you get what I mean ;)). The lighting and modelling are excellent... Why not try posting some of your work at the EV Image Gallery?

Thank you I think. Ugly? I geuss. I just tried to make complex biological designs, based loosely on nature. I have whole part sets where I developed the les and feelers. The lighting simply has more to do with the shapes and the contours than the lighting its self. Just using basic lighting, but the shape and texture setting are what make it look that way.
Very cool. And i agree with the ugly statement, but ugly in a good way, it adds to the model. Looks like a giant green and brown woodlouse, slater, whatever you call them...

As Jules said, "ugly" not intended for it's normal definition. Ugly in a sense that the vessel seems very aggressive and deadly-looking...

Precisely. A Star Destroyer from "Star Wars" is cool, yet ugly.

I wouldn't exactly call a Star Destroyer ugly. I think menacing and not sleek looking would be more accurate.

My point being, A Star Destroyer is a downright awesome ship, but any enemy who sights it would think of it as ugly.
i like it lots.
