What's a good freeware program for making ship grapgics?

...so I can start making graphics for Star Trek: Nova.

Strata 3d. It's available from (url="http://"http://www.3d.com")www.3d.com(/url)

Mechanisto is good too, but a bit difficult to use...

If you don't mind getting endless "Upgrade Now!" spam from the company, you can get older versions of Pixels:3d for free (http://www.pixels.ne.../downloads.html). I've never had the patience to figure out its interface, but judging from its feature list, it's quite powerful. (NURBS, IK, path extrusion, etc, etc.)

Back in my day, we didn't have any of this here UBB nonsense. It was DiscBoard or nothing, and we liked it!

yeh, i concour with glenn, pixels3d is a great programme, assuming you can get round its tedious learning curve...

keep your eyes open on magazine CD's, they are always giving away stuff like bryce...

While this topic is certainly valid, it isn't specifically Nova related, so instead I'm moving it to the Developers Board, where it will get the attention it deserves (as opposed to the Nova board where it will be something of an afterthought)... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Alright. That's where it is. I have an old issue of MacAddict that has a copy of itย—but it needs registration. The registration site was gone, so I assumed that it had been withdrawn (the free version that is). Thanks. Now I can mess around with it! ๐Ÿ™‚
