I know there is one out there, but where can I get it? My plug has some real bad bugs, and I can't fix 'em.

What do you mean by "I can't fix them"? Do you mean you can't find out what's causing them, or that the plug itself is corrupt? Either way, try Pontus' Plug Checker - someone here should be able to provide the URL. Best of luck!

I don't know what's causing them. EVO somtimes crashes when you are hypering into a system.

That's usually caused by a missing Dude resource I believe or the total percentages not adding up to 100 for that Syst. Glenn's suggestion to use PlugChecker is a good one. Using it will make your life a lot easier.

I need help, the target pictures for my plugin cause override to quit abruptly. It works fine unless I try to view a ship on the target. There are also fragments of picts floating around on the screen (ex asteroids, target brackets, etc.) that show up on the radar as ships. I tried plugchecker, but it only works for the origional ev as far as I can tell. Has anyone come across this problem before? Help please!

Pontus doesn't make Plug Checker; it's not on (url="http://"http://members01.chello.se/warlordpontus/ev")his web page(/url). I've seen a version of PC for EV, but I don't think there is one for EVO.

It seems likely that you've got the target pict in the wrong place. If EVO looks for a pict that doesn't exist, it'll mess up. Get Pontus' EVO FormulaCalc and make sure that you've plugged your picts into ResEdit under the correct resource number.

This is clearly a Spin problem. Your Spin(s) for the ship(s) in question are pointing to the wrong sprite and mask. This can also be corrected by assigning in ResEdit the values that FormulaCalc generates for your ship's id.

I need a plug checker as well, but there doesn't seem to be any for evo.
PC Works for EV and EVO. You can get it on addons page. just be careful: ab ug makes it show an error for 'snd 199 is missing' if you have weapons snd set to -1 (silent). Otherwise, it is a good tool.

You don't have 1.0.2? You should have it. Upgrade.
