Hey everybody! I'm back again, although I was not gone. School (I'm just a teen to) has me working diligently again...
But in the meantime I is working my proverbial butt of on...gasp...a PLUGIN! I know you all don't know me very well, well enough to trust me with this sort of thing but I am doing it anyway, with or without Gryb's response.

Anyway, it is called Origins, and is entirely about alien races, deep deep storylines and bizzare ship designs. It is planned for EV3 but I am using the EVO engine for now. It doesn't really feature the ol' hewman race at all (unless you are very very observant :D).
I already have 6 ships and 3 weapons done, my computer takes very long times to render anything decently. Old Performas are...well...old...
Well, this topic it now here for the posting of ideas and/or graphics and plot devices anyone wants to talk about. Anyone. Go ahead.

I've got 10 ships done and 5 in progress, but no weapons actually designed (concepts only). My idea for it is at least a year old.
I claim rights to the name, though. (url="http://"http://www.jps.net/btaenzer/origins.jpg")Here(/url) is an old image I'd made for it...it's a bit dated but covers the main story-driving point.
Don't worry, I'm not picking on you. In fact, a while ago a friend and I found out the name "Nemesis" was taken, so we renamed the plugin.
I've also got rights to "War Dawning" (many years :frown:) and "Era of War"....but the latter is very much subject to change.
Don't give up, though. From what I've seen you may be a newbie but by no means not-knowledgeable. Just change the title, please...in fact, this little mix-up has me anticipating your plugin more than I would have otherwise...I'm wondering what it'll be like.
(P.S. Yes, Performas are old. My 575 pales in comparison to my G4 450 :D)

Well, collaborating is fine with me. I have the major stories worked out allready, so I am not too flexible there...

The origional title was "Tragedy" but that wasn't too good, gave away the plot... **** I just gave away the plot by saying that! Oh, well.
I'll put some screenshots up later, I write on the webboard with a peecee because it is waaaaaaaayyy faster that my old performa.

Closer to Red Dawn, my own TC I originally started it under the name Nemesis, but I found out that someone else was using it. Now I his website shows that Nemesis is dead. ?? I've been working on Red Dawn quite a while, though not as long as you, just over a year. War Dawning / Red Dawn shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Hey, Weepul, I used to have an old 575 too. Whenever I tried to use the volume controls on the front, EVO froze up. Happened once when I was battling the Nadir in a Destroyer Ouch. Did you have that problem too?

Was that the one about my name? If it is, then yeah, it is Necronomicon, but that was too hard to read, so I cut it down.
I've never played EVO on it. I had my 6500/250 by the time it was out. I never had a problem with the volume controls, though.
