It says the have it (url="http://"http://guide.apple.com/Lasso.acgi?-database=MacOSGuide&-layout=cgi_detail&-response=%2Fussearch%2Fdetail.html&-recid=46118&-search")here(/url). But I have searched apples site long and exaustingly, yet I cannot find anything there, not even version 2.1.3! Someone help me on this.

Here's the story as I know it. ResEdit 2.1.3 is the last official version of ResEdit. Version 3.0 was gonna be ResEdit on Copland, so it was never officially released. I use version 2.9, which is another unofficial version which I got from someone on the old EVO board. 2.9 includes the "forker" extension, which allows you to poke around in data forks with ResEdit, but aside from that and marginally better stability, it's the same as 2.1.3.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, just use 2.1.3 if you can. If not, you may need to get Resourcerer... :frown:

2.9 sounds like it's a lot better than 2.1.3, is there any chance that you could attach a copy to an email and send it to me? If so thanx, if not then thank you for the info.
Check (url="http://"http://www.resexcellence.com")www.resexcellence.com(/url) for Forker. It's an extension that you stick in the System Folder.

ResEdit 2.9 - that must be referring to SuperResEdit. That was made by an independent developer, but approved by Apple. It can actually decomplie CODE resources into assembly language. It comes with Forker.
