I have SoundEffects and I've taken the time to get a feel for ho the effects work and how to use the program to make sounds for EV, but how the HECK are you supposed to make GOOD sounds with it?? The more you alter something on the quest to get the effect you want, the more buzzy and ringy it sounds 'till it sounds like you used the robotize effect on the whole thing. The best I've been able to do is to slightly modify a sound from an existing plug-in for basically the effect I want, but the results are never anywhere near satisfactory. Is there something I'm not doing right, or is SoundEffects too limited?

Tell me exactly what you are doing, what filters you are using, and what happens. I'll try to help you.
SoundEdit is not a bad program, it's not really professional, but you can get OK sound for multimedia-projects etc.
