Killing sea giants?

Is it possible? Can you kill the sea giants. I am at level 21 or 22 (124 life) and they cake me each time. I have something like 134 armor and the dwarven runic sword and they still get me when I block with the shield of stone. Any advice?

It's not possible yet, you'll have to have a bit more life before you'll be able to kill them. Stock up on vitality elixers and wait for a level up. I think I had about 250 vitality the first time I managed to start killing them... But I still needed a lot of healing potions. Also, bear in mind that they've each got about 2000 hit points, so you'll need quite a lot of strength and dexterity before it becomes anything like easy to kill them.

It's worth it, though, because when you start killing them they drop such good stuff that you can sell it to buy lots more elixers.

If you've got the shield of stone buy the lilith shield from witch finger or pick it up off the liliths in reef island.

Are the sea giants those horrible half lobster things in the SW? It hits me once and I'm dust.

It'll be forever before I'm 250 health. I'm level 21 and at 163 now. Moving up levels is now an extremely long, weary and sometimes boring process.

I decided I wanted to kill a giant when I was somewhere around level 20, 120 HP. Oh, I got it after a half hour, but i had to do some freaky dugs to do it. We're talking 10 strength potions, ten of those deffence powder things, and like five luck potions just for the hell of it. I was doped up, and I needed plenty of health potions after that, but I did it at a low level.

Personally, I'd say that HP are the less important stat when battling sea giants. (Mind, I've only killed about a half dozen of them, so I'm no expert.) I've had them kill me in one hit even when I have 200+ health, so the better solution is: Don't get hit! 🙂 It's far more important to have good armor and (especially) high dexterity - armor will reduce the damage you take, but dexterity will help keep you from getting hit at all. Use whatever magical means you have to thoroughly boost your dexterity before you take one on, and (this is key) save your game before you do so! I still die about 40% of the time when I try and kill one. 🙂

It also helps to have high strength and good weapons, so that you can kill them slightly more quickly - but it's more important to make sure that you don't get killed first.

Finally, if one does hit you and not kill you instantly, heal fast - anything less than a healing potion is a waste of your time, and philters (aka "filters") are much better.
