Which is the absolute best sound editor for making EV sound fx? I just need to make sound effects, not compose startup music. I want to know the best ones and which ones lend themselves to EV most. I'd like to know the budget choices too.

Anyway, SoundEffects is good if you can get hold of it. Unfortunately it has been pulled from distribution bt if you find it somewhere grab it while it lasts.

Okay, I'll take up that reccomendation. Something I'd like to know though: Is SoundEffects something I can buy or is it a download thing that you can't get anymore or what?
ANYWAY, I just went to download.com to find something I can use until I can buy something. I found a gaggillion sound programs, but none of descriptions is really helpfull for my purposes. Any reccomendations, Amdrew M ??

I recommend looking around for Sound Effects.
Well I did a Google search and everything, but it seams that, for reasons I can't fathom, Riccosoft has taken SoundEffect completely off its site and that's the only place to get it.
BUT , it seems to me (correct me if I am wrong) that if you guys are reccomending it, you have it. What you could do is email it to me at
