I'm gonna have to go with the Azdgari, i was always fnd of crescent warships and they just seem like the underdogs. The Igadzra are too mysterious. And the Zidagar are well.. Too purple...

If I'm with the Voinians, I always go for the extra manouverability that the Azdgari can offer. Otherwise, the big orange phallus does the job just fine.

I don't think you had a UE cruiser in the destroy the Dreadnought mission as it dosen't even exsists unless you work for the vonians.

Oh the UE Cruiser exists all right, you just have to do the Anna Balashova mission string to get it. That's available from the bar on New Taranto just after you've done the 'Rescue Scoutship Crew' mission for the UE ... sometimes it's a hassle to get, especially if you're working for FE and they bug you in the bar when you really want to be handed a cryptic note!
And yes, he did mean the Igazra, and, none taken ;).

I vote Zidagar, as Zidara is perhaps my favourite ship to fly. My second choice is Azdgari - for the azdara and all the upgrades.. Igadzra comes last - I really like the Igazra... but I'd prefer to capture one in a UE cruiser and add 2 PDBs to it
I hate the azdara. I always die in it. I suck with fighters. I prefer ships like crescent Warships and the UE Cruiser.
I never use fighters and fighter bays properly
Zidagari. I'm such a dramtist, so i fit in with 'em.
Zidagri fighters are great fun, too.
The first time I played Override I found myself drawn into the guile and intrigue of the Igadzra string. When I got the Plasma Siphon and discovered how cool it looks, I began calling it "The Popcorn Cannon". That weapon graphic is still my favorite.
However, since then I have discovered the appeal of the Azdgari. In my opinion, the Azdara is the best ship in the game. It is fast enough to outrun anything, and when properly outfitted it is literally invinsible. I have beaten the Earth defense fleet by wedging the space bar, up arrow, and autopilot keys down and going to do something else.
The trick lies in how shields and armor recover in EVO. They recover a certain percent of the total each second, and that percentage is defined by ship type. The Azdara has an insanely fast recharge rate. It goes from zero to full in way too little time flat. So... put a layer of Dospect Armor on an Azdara, and there's nothing in the game that can deal enough damage fast enough to lower your armor below 99% before it recovers to 0% shields.
To speed up battles, get yourself 6 UE Cruiser, Igazra, or Azdgari Warship escorts before buying the Azdara, then get and outfit your Azdara and unleash the flames of Lucifer upon your foes.
The other plus to the Azdgari Strand is that they file their teeth to have sharp points. Go go unlicensed cosmetic dentistry!
"I hate the azdara" then work on your piloting skills, it takes time. If you have a good pilot behind one of those its invincible no questions asked.
azdgari kick major ass, iggys are tight too but I have a problem with their culture. and zidagar just suck outright, any decent ship in the game can easily destroy their flagships.

It's not just about the ships, ya know.. Zidari culture has it's appeals. Idzari are just too dem suspicious And the zidari is an excelent escorst, especially with the fighters... though the Adzari warship is better if you can get one (Good luck)

I have indeed captured an Azdgari Warship, though I prefer and Azdara myself. As far as escorts are concerned it all comes down to your fighting style shrugs

I probably would have joined the Azdgari, but I found out their ships were not buyable, so I decided to go Zidagar.
The Zidara is great, it just doesn't have enough weapon space, and nowhere near enough weapon power anyway as the Phased Beams take up turret slots :(. The Zidagar Fighters rock and I would love to be able to buy and fly one.
I'm not a fan of Azdaras because they are too good. Just like I never buy Railguns in Nova - I find they take the fun out of the game.

The weapon space does improve after that one mission, but it's still not enough. I still find the Phased Beam oodles of fun though.

Trust me, even an Azdara can be an Uber cargo ship if done right, and it makes a damn good one too ;D
EDIT: LOL i just realised I have EVO 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 in my EVS folder!
