Last night, I joined forces with the Zidgara, and I got one of their ships. I launched my fighters, just for fun, and when I called them back in, EVO unexpectically quit. It happened three times to me, and I want to use my fighters!
Help.
------------------ (url="http://"http://directory.perfectparadox.com/profile.php?id=00080")Destroyer E(/url) is the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubbmisc.cgi?action=getbio&UserName;=Destroyer+E")name(/url) of my ship and the name has a good meaning.
If you are in EVO itself, I don't know what is up.
If you are in the port of Override to EV Nova, there is a bug that does strange things to the Zidagar Fighter Bay, among other outfits. Try my outfits fix plug -- it's on my E.S.W.P. (link in my sig), and also on Ambrosia's EVN add-ons page.
Good luck!
Edit/P.S.: Hey, if you are seeing the EVN/O outfits bug, your Zidagar Fighter Bay may have already vanished from your ship -- that might be why you can't call 'em back in. Back up your pilot file... you may be wanting to trade that Zidara in for a new one after you've installed the plug. ------------------ (url="http://"http://home.comcast.net/~drtrowel/")Dr. Trowel's E.S.W.P.(/url) -- Featuring Cold Fusion Graphics for EVN Override, and an EVN/O outfit bug fix. That's what I'm using
Ok, I checked yesterday, this error happens with all fighters. Help.
I still don't know anything about this problem in particular -- maybe someone else does.... Anyway, here are four rather generic ideas that often help:
Sorry I haven't got anything more than that. If any of these work, report back here so others can learn!

Thanks, I'll try the memory thing. I have no plugs installed, and I never had any for EVO.
EDIT: I did a search and found (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum2/HTML/000506.html")this(/url). Thanks.

Ok, I downloaded EVO 1.0.2, and installed it onto my computer. For a span of about two minutes, I had two EVOs on my computer. So I got rid of the EVO folder (1.0.1) and started up the other EVO. When 1.0.2 started up, I realized that I forgot to take my pilot out of the 1.0.1 folder. I feel like an idiot. :frown: Now, I have to start a new pilot and make up for everything I did before, and I dont want to cheat with one of those fake pilots that I can download.
See my answer at help on the way, and I now seem to remember pilot files were incompatible between 1.0.2 and 1.0.1-I had to start a new pilot. So you've actually not lost anything...
