Cogito Ergo Cogito
United we stand, so I wandered off and got me a chair.

The second the Igadzran fleet entered Duidir, they opened fire on the enemies. They quickly moved across the system, using repulsor beams to throw ships away from them. As they neared the planet, they were getting pummeled, but weren't doing too bad with their phase turrets. Suddenly, every repulsor beam on the fleet was fired at one Igazra, which sped extreamly fast towards the planet. It flew at lightning speeds past the Azdgari fleet, and strait towards the main settlement on Duimin. As it hit the city, a huge explosion occured. It flew across the land, burning everything. As it cleared, the city was rubble, as was the shipyard. Quickly, the Igadzran ships launched mines into the burnt hulks of their own ships, so that they couldn't be detected, and got out of there, headed for Igadzra.

In Igadzra, Orbital platforms and outposts are being built at hyperspace exits, espesially Notils. The outposts will have 4 phase turrets. Mines are also being layed all over the system, mostly near Notils hyperexit.

The Igadzra Carrier in Igadzra is being loaded with all the Dispersal rockets that the Igadzra don't use anymore. It will make quite an explosion. ETC: 1 day.
----------
A new phase weapon is being designed. It's called a Phase Blaster, and does a little more than the Phase Turret. It also has twice the range. ETC: 4 days.
----------

"Ilither to all ships. Prepare to leave system and head for Gorky. The Conclave will finish these renagades off."

Arcing round Freeport station, the League fleet headed for the hyperspace transition point. A few minutes later, the League fleet vanished into hyperspace.

----

League Expansion
With the local area subdued, and under the control of the League or Conclave, the League has few options in expanding its influence. Obviously the nearby strand space is an impossibility, thus the League must look to the galactic west. Colonies of the human race apparently exist in this direction, as evidenced by the alien renagades. A strandless colony exists in this area, but reports are vague. The League is scouting the area however, and hopes to have a fuller report of the area soon.

The graviton field generater was small so it could be used by all ships. It was being outfitted to all new vessels and all old ones.
"It would seem that the Igadzra want our armor. If we begin giving it our to every force in the galaxy the UE will eventually get it. I do not like the idea of them sampling our equipment."- Council Member A
"If they cant purchase it they will no doubt try to steal it. They are more advanced than us so they would have no need for anything we have but armor. I would allow them to land and refuel, but not let them take any armor."- Council Member B
"Ok, i want guards o' plenty around any source of armor. Only allow one ship down at a time. We cant take the risk of being overrun."- Emperor
(Message to Igadzra)
(From Voinian Council)
You will be allowed to land one ship at a time to refuel. You will not be given access to any of our technology. We have no reason to trust you so we will show none. To make it clear: you may refuel at our border posts and nothing more. If you cross into our space you will be destroyed. Understood?

Zurg gazed at the battle screen in awe. The attackers had ripped through the defence fleet and was heading towards the station.
"We have been beat," said Zurg,"send a surrender message to the attackers."

We wish to negotiate a surrender, please call off your ships. If you stop your attack on Freeport I will surrender myself to you as well as the cloning data, Freeport, and the nebular penetration device. If I surrender this please allow the remaining fleets to proceed to Gorky and dismantle the cloning base. We saw some of your ships hyperspace out towards Gorky please send them a message to not attack. If you do not comply I am sad to say that many more lives will be lost.

The Emalgha exploration fleet had somehow been split up. The five fighters had gone from the DSN-8209 System to the DSN-1469 System. However, the Warship had accidentally gone from the DSN-8209 System to the DSN-8200 System

DSN-1469
The five fighters came out of hyperspace in their loose pyramid formation. Their inexperience showed as one almost collided with another fighter; as it was, their shields brushed each other. They slowed almost to a crawl and then stalled. After 2 or 3 minutes, confusion at the lack of the Warship turned to desperation and horror. The Warship had carried all the provisions necessary for the trip, as well as the extra fuel. The Fighters were all out of fuel, and with no one in system, they were stranded. Suddenly, their communications and sensor man, High Flight Five, reported a contact.

“Lead, Five. I pick up an unknown signal at 100 klicks away. Visual contact hasn’t been made yet.”
“Five, Lead. Is it the Warship?”
“No Wait, I’m getting its IFF now. It’s identifying itself as the M.S.S. Exploration. I’m requesting assistance from them .”

DSN-8200
The Warship came out of space. On the bridge, Captain Feghan was amazed and puzzled at the same time. Puzzled, because his fighter escort was nowhere in sight. Amazed, because there, in front of his viewport, was a planet unlike anything he’d ever seen. Like most Emalgha, he knew only of the four Gems as the Emalghans called them: Lmeito, Emalghia, Gurado, and Kelmaon. Pride swelled in himself as he realized that he was going to get credit for discovering an entirely new planet. No one since the famed Admiral Carloth, who discovered and named Kelmaon, had ever discovered a new planet.

“Sensors, what is that? A planet, obviously, but can you give me a composition of it?”
“Sensors sensors report primarily an nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. Oxygen content, however, is low, probably about 15%. It’ll be like on a high mountain down there. Actually, it’s metallic composition is remarkable in that it’s almost the same as Kelmaon.”
“Communications, prepare a report.”
“Link open.”
“Council of Elders, I address you from the system of DSN-8200. We have found something rather startling: a planet exactly the same in composition as Kelmaon. It’s atmosphere is habitable, and it seems that our production would be greatly increased if we could get there. Currently, I am going to set up a small mining colony with the gear that we have on hand using our ship as a base. Please send science teams and Freighters.”

Emalghia
The Council of Elders was watching a demonstration of the new prototype. They had loaded a freighter full of rock and then had the freighter orbit Emalghia. Then, it dumped the rock. The new prototype approached it and showed off the destructive power of 4 Emalgha Turrets and 6 Emalgha Cannons. Then, to prove that it had could cover its stern, it turned around and proceeded to shred the rock. Then, it launched all four fighters at the same time, and they next docked with the ship again.

The Council was lauding praise upon praise of the new prototype when they received the message from Captain Feghan. Quickly, The First Elder diverted all of his freighters that weren’t currently transporting something to the DSN-8200 system. Too, he ordered that 5 Warships and 10 Fighters go with them.

Also, he received the Voinian Empire's proposal and hastily agreed.

  • 25 Fighters and 15 Warships in the DSN-4743 System.
  • 5 Fighters and 2 Warships in the DSN-2061 System.
  • 20 Fighters and 25 Warships in the Emalghion System.
  • 10 Fighters and 4 Warships in the Kelmaon System.
  • 5 Fighters in the DSN-1469 System.
1 Warship to the systems northeast of Kelmaon for exploration purposes.
  • 30 Freighters, 10 Fighters, and 5 Warships to the DSN-8200 System.
Final Version of the Carrier in Another Day.

Saga of the Guild: Chapter 22

Ji Nebula

A nebula is a marvelous place. Fields of gas dance in and out of millions ofyears, steadily surrendering to the allure of gravity. Slowly, the whirling dervishes of gas swirl into luminous masses. Gravity slowly sculpts these masses into spheres of radiant energy; the weakest force has the most lasting impact. The masterpieces of Gravity are the works of a great clockmaker; Gravity’s artwork watches the rise and fall of civilizations with an attitude of impartial curiosity. A nebula is a field of new life, for Gravity’s art is the source of life, and so it is Gravity who makes and mends, tears and rends the fountains of civilization.

A nebula is where a star is born.

Deep in the heart of the Ji Nebula, ten bursts of light hurled a wall of green within kilometers of an emerald sphere’s gravity well. The wall paused for a moment, then dived for the green world below. After scanning the world for other craft, the wall of Miranu Ra Gunships broke formation and started mapping the planet sector by sector. Within a few hours the patrol had charted F-25 to extreme accuracy. The patrol, designated Typhon, regrouped and set down in a clearing. The Pilots of Typhon Patrol disembarked and assembled a thorough base camp. Pieces of equipment stored in the cargo bays of the gunships were removed and assembled into a field laboratory and hospital. Monitoring instruments were calibrated to the characteristics of F-25. Core samples and vegetation cuttings were made, analyzed, and results recorded and interpreted. Over several days, entire sectors of the planet were analyzed in this manner. Eventually, the Typhon patrol reported back to Munb, where the other group of gunships, designated Moagim Patrol, relieved them to continue the work on F-25.

The base camp on F-25 eventually grew into a populated town. The unspoiled beauty of the jungle world inspired the Miranu colonists to name their city Eden.

Mira

“Researcher Somm will now give us an update on the Hephaestus Project,” intoned the deep voice of Corzun Dah. Total silence held sway in the meeting hall of the Miranu High Council.

Lelos Somm stood slowly. He tapped his left temple once, then looked into High Councilor Imir’s eyes.

“Eden has been found.”

The High Council was immediately attentive, even more so than usual. The ancient search for Gan Eden, the Garden of Eden, conducted by the Miranu since the days of the Total Exploration, had long been thought to have no end. The myth had even spread to the people of the Sol system during the Exploration, cropping up in religious texts in varying forms on Sol-P3. Now, with Lelos Somm’s declaration lacking any uncertainty, the High Council of the Miranu Star League was prepared to take immediate action.

“We must safeguard this finding from those who have broken our trust,” said Researcher Somm. “It is our duty to defend Eden, even if pre-emptive action is necessary. We must honor the Miranu people with the tenets of such a goal. Let us recruit a corps of talented colonists to gather on Munb to join Patrols Typhon and Moagim in the pioneering of this new frontier. Step up the watch on our borders. Allocate the highest priority to this goal. Let the Miranu march forth into Eden. Let us claim our promised land!”

The High Council was moved by Lelos Somm’s words. Trademaster Dah seized on this situation to explain the completion of the Miranu fleet’s upgrading. All vessels now held photonic weaponry. He went on to speak of the prototyping of the Miranu Ramscoop, then commended the Engineers from across the Star League for their thoroughness and efficiency in refitting the Miranu Defense Fleet. He then recognized High Councilor Imir of Blaga.

The willowy form of Imir rose to speak as Lelos Somm took his seat along with the trademaster. She lifted her finger to her left temple, then slowly removed it.

“The Trading Directorate of Blaga wishes to pursue some recently acquired information. A trading courier in the DSN-1469 system encountered a people identifying themselves as the Emalgha. We wish to open talks with them, and the Zachit have expressed interest in this as well. Requesting authorization for the pilot of the courier to be named Negotiator of the Star League.”

“Granted. May his efforts be profitable.”

Nivad read the message from the Igazdra. He thougt a minute, then looked at the ships in the system. He realized that if he won, there wouldn't be many ships left. Of the fighters he started with, only the docked fighters remained. He made a decision,
"Igadzra: We will stop this battle. Please cease fire and we will leave."
He keyed to his ships,
"All ships: Cease fire! I repeat; Cease fire! We are not going to make it, even if we did not many of us would be left. Lets exit the system."
With that, all the ships stopped firing. The Igadzra returned to close orbit around the planet, and the Zidagar ships entered hyperspace.

General Neb had been watching old videos from previous battles a long time. He knew that some adjustments must be made, that way an advantage might be made. He brought in some scientists and discussed various matters with them. After many hours of discussing many subjects, he had made plans of research and development. His first was to upgrade the ECM, this way smart bombs wouldn't be smart enough to target them. His second was to upgrade the phased beamer, one way was to make it turreted. This way ships could fire it at an angle, instead of just head-on. There were many more things he intended on upgrading it. Finally, he ordered many fleets to relocate around Zidagar space.

The crew of the Azdgari Flagship slowly picked themselves up from where the explosion of the Igadzra Carrier had thrown them a few moments before. Lifting himself back into his command chair, General Treval brought up the numerous damage reports that were coming in from all over the fleet. Most of the Warships and BattleCarriers were fine, but a few had sustained some pretty serious damage, the Azdaras were the ones that had taken most of the hit. The BattleCarriers picked up the disabled Azdaras and quickly got them back in working order, while the damaged Azdaras merely waited a few minutes for their shields to recharge.

After about 10 minutes the Azdgari fleet had regrouped enough to return to their attack on the remaining Igadzra ships. This time as they advanced the Warships took the point of the advance. As they approached the Igadzra fleet the Azdgari BattleCarriers used their pursuit missiles to pick off the 4 remaining Igadzra Aradas. With most of the Azdaras and Arada staying behind the Warships to shield themselves from tractor and repulser effects, the Warships took the brunt of that attack when it came. As soon as the two sides began to exchange turret fire, the Igadzra tried to use their repulser/SAE tactic again. This time, however, the Azdgari were prepared, and when the SAEs sped towards the Warships, the faster Aradas swept out and grabbed them with their own PDS Batteries.

With the Igadzra ships almost completely out of fuel for their repulsers, the Azdaras were able to sweep out of the shelter of the protection of the Warships and once again move to swarm the Igadzra. There was very little fancy tactics at this point of the battle, the Igadzra tried to mount an effective defense, but with the numbers they were up against, it really wasn't much of a contest. Within only a few minutes the Igadzra were completely destroyed.

Notil's small spaceport was buzzing with activity as the local garrison prepared for invasion. The local commander was a skilled veteran of several of the land battles that had marked the last major escalation of the Strand War, but at the moment he had very little confidence in his ability to hold his ground. If only I had more men, he thought 2,000 infantry and a few light attack vehicles aren't enough to hold against these Azdgari Devils.

The convoy of Emalghan Freighters, Fighters, and Warships came out of hyperspace. When they all beheld the planet, they let out a collective gasp of awe. Had space been able to transmit sound, the ground crews would’ve hurt their laughter, cheers, and sounds of joy.

The 25 Freighters that had been filled with mining equipment and mining teams unloaded in different locations. These locations clustered around the point where Captain Feghan had initially landed. There, the 5 Freighters that hadn’t been loaded up with mining teams and their tools instead dropped off more than 2000 Emalghan citizens. While they were mostly engineers, electricians, doctors, and occupations that would be useful on an untamed planet, a score or two of them were leaders, lawyers and the like. They all pitched in to help set up the prefabricated structures in which they would live for the forseeable future. After the Freighters had dropped off all of the provisions, they lifted off and went back to Kelmaon for more supplies and people. The engineer corps busied themselves with making a crude refueling depot. The soldiers among the group set up an Emalghan turret in the middle of the settlement (though everyone knew that if so much as an Ophea bat came by, they were all toast, none of them admitted it). The 25 Freighters deployed to different sites and anxiously awaited the payload.

Four Fighters and one Warship each went to the DSN-4386 System and the Holmm System for further exploration purposes.

Kirk walked briskly through the halls of Hrekka. It has been a few weeks since this outpost was captured. In the past few weeks, a lot has happened. The Miranu has found a habitable planet in the middle of the Ji Nebula. He smiles that he is very glad that he allowed the Miranu access to the nebula. New thing has been popping up, but there is one thing he really want that almost nobody else have: A Dreadnaught of Zachit Variant. He uses a comm-panel and inform all of his scientists to start constructing plans for a dreadnaught. Kirk now remember, “Wait a minute. The Voinian have a Dreadnaught. I’m going to need to contact them for some technology from their Dreadnaught.” Kirk went to his quarters and encoded a message.

Message Encoded

To: Voinian High Emperor

From: Leader of Zachit, Kirk Staley

Greeting, emperor. I have been doing some thinking, and I just ordered all of my scientists to focus on a Dreadnaught, but I was wondering if you can lend me your men that worked on the Dreadnaught so we can combine minds, and have some tech with them.

Out, Kirk Staley.

Message Sent--------

Kirk leaned back in his chair and said, “I am very highly suspicious.of the renegades. During my life, they almost always go back on their words.” Kirk opened a comm-panel and said, “Put ALL Zachit Ships on high alert, and tell them that if the renegades violate one item of the treaty, FULL ASSAULT on the Rock!”

Kirk looked at the sky, and thought, "I will send a representative of the Zachit in one of my gunships to the Emalgha." He barked an order. "Dave, you will go to Emalgha immediately in my gunship! as a representative of the Zachit" Dave said, "Thank you, Sir!" and cried a little, because he always dreamed of commanding a gunship.

South Tip Conclave

(- Source: Halls of the Conclave, Alpha Nexus, Vardamaught, Kayia; South Tip Conclave -)
(- Recipient(s): Freeport; Human Renegade -)
(- Priority: 2 -)

The Conclave will make no further attacks upon your semblance of a government, either directly or indirectly, under the following conditions:-
• You do not fire upon any vessels allied to the Conclave unless provoked.
• You do not violate Conclave territory. As of now, this includes DSN-3587 and DSN-8075. Riomor does not count.
• You destroy all your cloning bases.
• You regularly update us with information on your fleet size, composition and technological breakthroughs. You need not give us the blueprints of any technologies you develop, but if you fail to inform us of your breakthroughs, we will treat it as an act of hostility. (OOC: if you say that you are sending these updates, Zurg, then we can count it as being done automatically - you don't need to actually send a message all the time)

Bear in mind that disagreeing with these terms will result in your death at limited cost to us. Our vessels are prepared to deploy unmanned invaders onto your station -- only your side will lose lives in such an encounter.

(- end transmission -)

(OOC: Zurg, if the terms are unreasonable, then say so in New Life and I'll delete the rest of this post. Sorry about the mix-up.)

Perched in position around Freeport, the veiled ships of war that hailed to the Conclave waited, weapons systems on standby. Ten of the eleven Laziras in the mass had already acquired specific strategic targets on the renegade station, Search and Destroy modules ready to fire should the first hint of resistance appear. Space was quiet, but the tension was palpable. The renegade's remnant of a fleet, five battered Helians, surrounded the station in a tight, pathetic semblance of a stand, but they did not fight. Surrender had been called.

It was the eleventh Lazira where the next stage of the battle would commence. On the Maverick, where the commanders of the Conclave operation had gathered.

"We were instructed to eliminate the defences in Riomor and seize Freeport," Evhael reminded Nhada. "And if they were to offer a surrender, to accept it and allow them to flee to Yelts or any other systems for safety."

"I don't like this," Nhada muttered. "These are renegades. They deserve death. Why should we back out of this fight now?" Nhada glanced around him, to the other two ranked as Guardians. Jenra appeared deep in thought - she had eschewed her joking manner since Evhael was brought into the ranks, oddly enough. She hardly seemed to hear Evhael or Nhada. Karatis nodded marginally.

"Because, Nhada, it would be killing in cold blood," Evhael replied softly. Her tone of voice was fixed, and firm, but hinted vaguely that she did not like how things had turned out. "The renegades cannot defend themselves. We cannot stoop to their level and continue this assault."

Nhada sighed and shook his head. "I fear that they will come back to haunt us."

"They will not," Jenra spoke out firmly, raising her head. Three sets of eyes swivelled to regard her. Evhael's brown eyes seemed to pierce her, and Jenra lowered her head. Nhada blinked. "They will not," she repeated, almost in a cowed manner, if that could be believed of Jenra. "The League's fleet is already in hyperspace for Yelts. They won't stop, not now."

Evhael considered her for a few minutes, and then nodded. "Our demand of their surrender is bitter treachery, and we did not even intend it."

"The League will destroy them," Karatis murmured in disgust.

"And it will seem to them that we offered to shelter them," Nhada continued. "True, we only told them that we would cause them no harm, but is this not just as bad?"

"We can't let this happen..." Jenra said, her face pale. What is wrong with her? Nhada had noticed this change in her lately, particularly since Evhael was assigned above her, but... Surely she can't be jealous of Evhael's rank? That's not like her...

"We can't not let this happen," Evhael responded. "End of story, I'm afraid. This joint assault was in hopes of establishing a stronger tie with the League, and I have no doubts that the result of this assault will not be so, but we cannot move against the League. We have neither the justification nor the right."

Karatis laughed. "You're right... I suppose. But I don't like this, at all."

"What's the plan, then?" Nhada asked, pushing his own disapprovement out of his mind. But a voice whispered in his head, of Lysaeun, one of the pilots in his squadron. We cannot expect, perhaps. But we can hope.

"The renegades have two hours to evacuate the station. From there, they can go where they wish. We will not be taking their leader - he is to be allowed free also," Evhael responded. "The cloning facilities on Freeport are to be destroyed immediately. The Conclave has no need of such moral evil. We're moving Freeport to Malago, and I've sent word to the research and development department that the designs for human weaponry will be available soon - along with something they developed called a nebula penetration device."

"Right then," Nhada said. "Freeport will be en route to Malago by the end of the day, Magistrate."

Evhael nodded, and smiled warmly. "See to it, Nhada. I have faith in your capabilities."

For some reason, Jenra seemed even more disturbed by that.

The evacuation of Freeport was a very orderly business. Independant captains who had been staged on the station were allowed to get to their ships and leave in whatever direction they wished. The five renegade Helians were quickly turned into transport ships, and also allowed to leave in the direction of their choosing. Once Freeport was devoid of sentient life, the Conclave ships sent a signal back to Outpost Sentinel on Mavs. At this point, the Galactic Eye on Bakoom had been completed several hours past, and was able to make a sensor sweep of the area. The sweep showed that Riomor and Freeport both appeared to be clean, and also showed that the Yelts system was literally undefended by the renegades. The League fleet was several hours off arriving in the system, and the result was indisputable. The Galactic Eye also provided strategic data on the ships in every League system, and, more importantly, revealed the existence of a third renegade system: Pariah, also undefended. Lastly, the device revealed that the Igadzra system of Motif was open to attack - not a ship in the system. Useful information all, for certain individuals.

Once it was ascertained that Freeport was safe, Conclave troops and engineers were dropped off at the station, and quickly made a closer check. All vital information was downloaded from Freeport's computers immediately, including the designs for human shielding, the structure of human armour, blaze weaponry, rockets, needle missiles, the "nebula penetration device" and schematics for the inferior human engines. Also, message logs were found with an alien race called the "Voinians." From what was known about them, from Freeport's computer, it quickly became clear that their neutron weaponry and armour-building techniques could be useful. While acting without majority consent from the rest of the Conclave, Mathuin was quick to take advantage of the situation.

There has been an unfortunate mistake in our exchange agreement. One of our governors believed that he was to exchange blaze weaponry for the schematics of your frigate. This was incorrect.

The schematics of our blaze weaponry is attached with this message, along with designs for our shield matrices, as we believe that these would be of some use to you. In exchange, we wish the designs for your neutron weaponry and the knowledge of how your most durable armour is constructed. To make the deal more reasonable, we have also enclosed data on all human and U.E. systems that are behind the Voinian-U.E. border. This data should provide invaluable in any assaults you choose to make. Thank you.

(- end transmission -)

With the message sent, the Laziras and Crescent warships in the Conclave fleet set about the business of moving Freeport to Malago. The process was a difficult one - they had to merge their shield grid with each other to encompass the entire station. The grid was extremely unstable, a single phase pulse being capable of tearing it to shreds. However, it was the best way of moving the station on such short notice. Freeport would arrive in its new home within ten days.

The Galactic Eye was a silver tower one hundred and fifty metres tall, in the shape of a lengthened pyramid. A black sphere rotated around it constantly - not truly in realspace or subspace, it was referred to as "the tap." These trans-spacial taps provided the vital link between the two dimensions, allowing the sensor to work.

Already, the Galactic Eye, completed two days previously, was beginning to map systems as far as seven hyperlinks distant, providing data that could have an important strategic use. The ship deployments in the following systems were all noted: Bakoom, Akrayhek, DSN-5651, DSN-4611, DSN-4496, Mavs, Malago, Unobot, DSN-5553, Siqwe, DSN-5468, DSN-5589, DSN-6107, Vyrink, Groned, Duios, Tibidat, Karra, Funit, Motif, Nifal, Hrinix, Reban, DSN-3587, Yelts, Riomor, DSN-8075, DSN-6253, DSN-463, DSN-7887, Pariah, DSN-6001, Troub, Huan, Hatuli and DSN-8584. In particular, it was logged that Motif, Pariah and Yelts were all defenceless, and that Siqwe was busy with League vessels.

After the completion of the Galactic Eye, the scientists had already moved on to a new project. While rather simple in function, it was an important step in sub-spacial technology - communication via sub-space. The communication network would have several major advantages over conventional communication. Firstly, it would be instant, even between systems, and secondly, it would be completely undetectable and impossible to intercept.

Meanwhile, the huge construction facility, asteroid refinery and shipyard Navis Synthesis had been completed, and had already begun churning out Conclave vessels.

OOC: Solel, I think it's time to arrive on Tibidat. Would you mind doing the honour of having the Conclave, League and Miranu all meet togeter? Feel free to take any liberties controlling either of our diplomats within reason... I think RMA and I can't be buggered with the actual meeting bit today.

Yelts

The League fleet arrived in the Yelts system, weapons active, shield grids online.

"This is Admiral Ilither, Commander of the Strandless Redemption League Navy. All forces in this system are ordered to stand down and surrender. Sufficient firepower is targetted on your ships to destroy you before you can get near. If you surrender, you will be released at a world of your choosing, or allowed to enter the service of the League after testing. You have 1 minute to comply."

----

Internal Development Report
In order to accentuate the Leagues advantage in long range combat, some sort of interdiction device that can disrupt enemy munitions before they hit would be useful. The League has opted to go for a form of shield manipulation, where a tendril of shield energy is extruded from the main shield grid, in order to interdict munitions. While a successful interdiction would result in the destruction of the extrusion, it would have little effect on the main shield grid, the energy used for the extrusion being minimal. The success rate of the interdiction would vary from the type of ship and size of the volley aimed at the ship. Larger scale uses of this technology are possibly, and will be looked at during development.

Voinian Empire
The change of plans sent by the Human Empire were rather... strange. They needed more powerful ships and the Frigate would take any of their current ships out easily(even if they didnt have access to bronev armor). Being very protective of the only edge the empire has in this galaxy, a refusal is sent.

Unacceptable! We would sooner capture a UE destroyer for such things than trade our armor technology! Where as your shield and blaze schematics would be useful, we do not see it as a fair trade.
