I've done the Zachit recruitment mission, and now I would like to do the Miranu Gunship missions. Also, where do the N.P Device missions start.
Thanks.

I think that you have to do the NP device missions b4 you can do the gunship missions. If im right they start on station phybin.
To get the gunship missions, you should destroy the renegades in the Zachit system until your goodness gets to about Upstanding citizen. Then land on the planet a couple of times until you get offered the mission.
By the way if you helped a renegade leader escape the Zacha to north tip station, the rest of the missions become unavailable.
------------------ Whats wrong with the Lazira. Everyone wants big powerful ships but a smaller faster ship is more fun and more challenging.
A Dangerous combat rating helps with the Gunship missions (I had an Ultimate cr when I did the Gunship missions, so I don't really know). I did the N.P. device missions after the Zachit missions.

Hmm... I have finished the gunship missions, but haven't even heard of the NP device ones, so obviously there's no particular order.
Generally, it's a good idea to build up some cachΓ© with the Zachit. Look in mission computers in the North Bend for things like escorting jobs and Termination jobs. They will be prefaced with "Zachit:" and every one that you do improves your standing with them. Once you've done enough, there shouldn't be any problem with finding either of these missions, I presume. That's what I did, anyway.
Even if you have Ultimate combat rating, and are and 'honered leader' status in Zachit, it is only availible 5% of the time (to change it without cheating, go to res-edit and select mission avail to 100% or something). -Gav

Hmm, interesting thing 'cheating', isn't it? If I did that I'd say it was cheating, but you wouldn't and from where I'm standing (sitting/being), we're both right. Most intelligent definition I heard of cheating was from Ryan Ballantyne (long time ago) which was words to the effect of 'if it spoils the game for you, then it's cheating, if not, then it's not'. I suppose it's as someone in another recent thread said, as long as it's single player you can only cheat yourself.

It all begins when New Mira comes under attack (the gunship string)
You'll either learn about the attack on New Mira at outpost Zachit or from a passing by Zacha. For more info about the Zachit, check out my sig. | | | | V

Erm, that is not cheating. It doesn't give the player any paticular advantage or even change the game at all. Increasing the % of the mission avail simply saves you haveing to keep hyperspacing out and then back into the system. If you call that cheating then you just stuck up, pal. No offense. -Gav

Is ther no member that knows this?!? You get the Gunship missions at Outpost Zachit. You need an Ultimate combat rating. The Explore Nebula missions start at Station Pybin in the Prait system. In that small string you get the Nebula Penetration Device. It cuts through the heavy interferance(sp?) of the nebulae and allows you to enter it. Be sure to have a Fuel Scoop. There i no order that you have to do this in. NOW LET THIS TOPIC DIE!

Excuse me! You are correct when you says it starts at Outpost Zachit. You're wrong when it says it requires ultimate rating. It only requires dangerous rating. It was in the information for Outpost Zachit when you land. Now, NPD- You can get the first two missions anywhere below North Tip. And you are correct when you says that you;re going to need a fuel scoop.
Not if you have a cool big 15 jump Miranu courier

Most players don't use Miranu Couriers because of their horrible shields and weapons.

The gunship missions need an Ultimate rating. to start the Zachit string requires a dangerous rating. I stand corrected as far as the NPD missions.
