...is there any way I can play EVO, at all on my Gateway without having to go through the bewildering process of emulating?
And no, I will not buy a Mac.

Facts:
1.) EVO is a Mac OS application 2.) Gateway can not run Mac OS natively
I'm certain you are aware of these two facts. As anyone with enough logic can conclude that no, there's no way for you to run EVO on your Gateway without emulation of Mac OS.
I realize this. I was wondering if there was a cough unauthorized port or something, aside from that crappy little Epiar thing.
Emulating isn't -that- bad for EVO... and anyway, you should be able to do it just fine when the windows EV Nova port is done and an Override plug is likely to be available :).
