I'm afraid that IS true. I've taken out 50 some Igazras with just +100 armor (from some bronov plating) and I did it WITHOUT using secondaries. AI ships would use both the rockets (which can't be jammed) and its fighters. If I can take out that many ships, I'm quite sure a Voinian Cruiser could take out three Igazras.

UE Fighters are totally outclassed by their crescent counterparts.
An Igazra would whoop the UE Cruiser. It has 500 (or was it 600?) shields compared to the 300 of the UE Cruiser. It has SAEs which the UE can't jam, and it's dispersal rockets are also nasty.
Phase Beams would tear apart the cruiser and its fighters.

I'm not trying to say that the UE Cruiser is the most pathetic ship in the whole EV Universe. I'm trying to say that the Voinian Cruiser is BETTER in the Crescent.

Now for the UE Cruiser
Anyways, I tried both ships and even though I am por UE, and hate the Voinian Cruisers slow speed, I have to admit the Voinian Cruiser outperforms the UE Cruiser in the Crecent.
I'm not saying that this is a fact, its just my opinion.

I can take out 50+ Igazras in a Crescent Fighter without +100 armour and without secondaries. And without the Monty Python. Since when have you seen a Crescent Fighter take out three Igazras on AI?
