I believe such was the date that the info says for EV Override. Of course this September I redownloaded the game cuz I had screwed it up with ResEdit so that Dogovor doesn't exist, and a number of other huge problems.

As EV Override was released 29 April 1998, I'm afraid it doesn't, unless you were a beta tester. However, I checked, and the application's creation date is 12 February 1998, so I can see where you're getting that number. What you must remember is that most of the time, the creation date reflects when the actual file was created, not when you downloaded it.

I believe I started playing EVO about June 1998. That was the summer of EVO. Ah, memories. Haven't played a new pilot file for about a year and a half or so, I really should start a new one. It's been far too long.

since Mac Addict CD non stop on both games (EV + EVO). no wonder i'm a fanatic that knows everything about them.

as you can well relate (I hope. dont like being alone in things)) its very boaring once your killing dreadnoughts with UE freighters and a phase turret. mabye i should try a cannon .

Played both games as soon as I discovered them on MacAddict. Played through large portion of EV:O when I first found it, then put it away, for the most part, until this fall, when college got sooo boring I had to find something to do. So I d/led Frozen Heart and went through, then used Triple Agent and a couple hacks to play every single possible string, including ones I did not know about (thanks to this board :D) in a pilot file. Then I moved on again. Now I think my days are going to be spent advancing my only DII character on my new iBook! Of course, until Nova is released.

I discovered EVO in 1998 when I was going to register EV. I tried it, didn't like it, and registered EV. Then I got bored of EV, and registered EVO in 2000, so 2 years.

I wanted a game that I could use 'on the road' with my old laptop. October 2001 was the start - not had more than 10 hours a week since then. The board helps overcome the frustration of lack of time. There is so much to learn about how you want to play, make money, which ship, which weapons ..... damn its a fine game
