Rules:** 1. You may control only your own character unless another character has stated that you can control his/her character. 2. No total destruction (i.e. no annihilating the universe in one fractured sentence) 3. Your posts may only account for one weeks time and one day's action (action as in battle/fight/whatever) 4. No undefeatable protections (such as invincinaughts) 5. Tech and Civil advances are made during the set timeframe and are regulated by the moderators. 6. Lifepads (small modules that you can strap to your belt) give the character invincibility but he can still be captured and stunned. They may be used for one day at a time. You must state specifically in your post that you put one on, or else it doesn't count. You also cannot use them for other non-player characters. 7. Thread Moderators may revoke any part of your posts at any time if they do not follow these rules. 8. Anything acquired or developed must be noted. Background developments are allowed only by moderators. 9. Economy Reports are controlled entirely by the moderator(s). 10. Ship Counts are controlled entirely by moderator(s). 11. Supercruisers are massive warships that can take on entire fleets and still win. They are like base ships, and thus have their own bays for other ships and can be retrofitted to be used as shipyards. The only government which possesses supercruiser technology are the Azdgari. Supercruisers take a very long time to build.

Notes: 1-The Current Allies:
Azdgari/Igadzra/Azdgari Federation/Voinians/Kiran Horoth/Renegade Alliance/Kayans
The current Enemies:
Akrahd vs. Everyone (xenophobic) Rarkyl vs. Everyone (xenophobic) Ediens vs. Everyone (xenophobic) Pirates vs. Everyone (xenophobic)
2-The only government which is capable of creating the technology that would allow people to go to and from the Milky Way and the New Galaxy is the Kayian Alliance. They have already found a way to get through the sub-space rift and go in-between the Milky Way and Refugee Galaxy, but only 50 ships can go through at one time. 3-There is absolutely no way anyone can get to the Andromeda galaxy except for the Ediens. 4-The Rarkyl and Horosk are currently just background development races to be brought in at a later time.
5-The last major event for Golden Horizon was the beginning of the Zidagar Civil War. In this war, the Zidagar government split up into three factions; loyalists, isolationists, and rebels. The map for the Zidagar Civil War can be found at: (url="http://"http://www.carnotaurhq.com/golden_horizon/graphics/zid_civilwar_map.gif")http://www.carnotaur...ivilwar_map.gif(/url)
GOLDEN HORIZON PART IV CAN NOW BEGIN!
------
It was utter chaos.
Isolationist forces struck fear into the loyalist faction as dozens of ships made raids on almost all systems, destroying industrial centers and causing mass havoc. This, of course, just added to the plight of the Zidagar people; there practically wasn't a person in all of Zidagar who wasn't starving or low on something else.
Titan, the loyalist capitol world, was also in mass chaos. Riots and uprisings were starting everywhere. Riots were breaking out in every single city in all of Zidagar space. The Loyalists were trying to regain some order by building up ships to add to the ones lost, but they were still outnumbered by the Rebels and Isolationists.
As uprisings, riots, and fighting between the three factions continued, the Azdgari continued diplomacy work with the Igadzra and Miranu, trying to form together a coalition to help the Zidagar Loyalists.
At the same time, the Kayan Alliance were under massive political and media pressure. Often seen as the "Peacemakers" of the New Galaxy, everyone was wondering what the Kayans would be doing in the current situation...
-----------
All Isolationist forces under the command of Admiral Arcturus were now ordered back to Brokac. There they were rearmed, supplied, and refueled, then 150 of them set off for Titan. Their mission; perminantly cripple the Loyalist government. The other 100 would stay behind to cause as much trouble as they could for the Loyalist government...
------------------ If at first you don't succeed...Hit it harder! - Me -------------- Millennium. Its coming, prepare for it. Coming to the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/games/ev/chronicles.html")EV Chronicles(/url).
Captain Morgan Lee looked out the veiwport of his office. He wacthed the swirling beauty of hyperspace as it lept all around his ship, the Ravenshadow , a modified Kiran Blade cruiser. Just beyond the veiw port, Morgan could see the silhouettes of other Kiran ships like Nova Lazrias, Stalker Igadzras and Kiran Blade Cruisers. An arada flew by the Ravenshadow and Morgan turned about, letting out a sigh. He was human, some thirty-five years old and a man who had once been a trader turned warrior. Before joining the Kiran, he had been a merchant who could fight like a wildcat when backed into a corner. That and he was a good negotiator, which was why the Kiran had taken him into their fold.
Morgan paced his office with thoughts of the upcoming event. Before Sisay had left to Draven knew where, he had been put in command of this event. It was quite simple really; take Palin Fleet and join the assault on Threefrog at a certain time. The fleet comprised of mainly ninety-five ships and their support craft, mainly comprised of fighters and aradas built on Racet or given to the Kiran by the Federation. The ships however were given something special: new eon weaponry replaced old quantum turrets and cannons and this gave an edge so needed. Morgan still have thought of it as a suicide mission had it not been for the work of Kiran special ops who had done some good damage and escaped with much of the slave population. Those who had not escaped were dead on Threefrog...as well as the Ediens they took with them.
Looking at the clock, Morgan gave a sigh and grabed his vest, a coat of red leather traced with silver threads. Putting it on, he headed out of his office and onto the bridge. All hands saluted and at Morgans order went back to their jobs. He took a brief look around and smiled, as he had known his crew for well over seven years. With that he took his command chair while his first officer, a young Miranu commander named Eirl, took his own place next to him.
Eirl looked at Morgan and said, All decks and all ships have reported in, Captain. They await your word and theyll jump, sir. All crewers are anxious to bring the fight to the Ediens. Morgan nodded and tapped his command console to open up a fleet wide comlink.
Attention all ships and hands, this is Captain Lee. For the past six years, weve fought off an evil race and come through with a good deal of victories and more then our fair share of butt kickings. Lets show this Edien Empire what Palin Fleet is made of and lets bring home a victory or two! There was a number of cheers from the bridge and from all ships as the crews listened to their COs words. With that, the link was closed and the signal to jump was issued. Helm, take us into the maelstorm and show the Ediens what the Kiran are made of! Engage now! With that the fleet and their support ships jumped from hyperspace to realspace.
Threefrog system
The fighting between the Edien and Fed forces were fierce, as was to be expected between to mortal foes. There was a note however as several jump points opened up to reveal the splendor that was hyperspace. From the points came a spread of missiles, SADs and other such ordinance which went flying straight towards the Edien ships. The source of the incoming ordinance soon became clear as nearly a hundered warships jumped from hyperspace with heavy weapons firing. The energy weapons used however had not been seen before by the Ediens though the technology had been mentioned to the Federation sometime. Bolts of red energy slammed into the hulls of Edien ships as jump points formed all around. Soon after the warships came the support ships, nearly five dozen Kiran fighters and slipfighters. At that, the warships broke off and headed for many a target.
A message came through to both Edien and Fed ships from the Ravenshadow , saying simply, Were here boys, so put on your helmets and cry like the cowards you are Ediens. Palin Fleet is in the system and were not leaving!

The Edien commander growled and sent back a message to the Kiran fleet.
"You may be the Kiran, you may be powerful, you may be smart, but we have the advantage of sheer power and numbers. Also, don't get so cockey; if it wasn't for your Federation friends, you'd be dead already."
The commander turned to his lieutenant. "Launch the entire defense fleet and call for reinforcements, now!!!"
--------------
The battle raged on. The Federation threw its full force at the Ediens, and the Ediens threw their full force at the Federation, though a good portion of their weapons fire was directed at the Kiran fleet, which took heavy hits from the Edien fleet. The Miranu fleet, escorted by the Federation, also poured their own weapons fire at the Ediens, getting some revenge back for the destruction of their homeworld.
Meanwhile, the Federation 13th Fleet was heading for Threefrog. The 13th Fleet was under the command of Admiral Johnson, and they were responsible for securing Threefrog itself after the Edien fleet had been taken care of. That was to be done that way because as soon as the enemy fleet was obliterated, the 7th Fleet would then head out and attack Innirian.

Fifty Igadzra ships, led by Lavore, passed through Okran'ian to Ikrahd, while another fifty, recently met by the I.S.S Defender, the new Igazrada, went through NGC-238X. They arrived in Ikrahd at exactly the same time, thanks to the new logistics system organised at the Gateway by the recently formed Igadzra Grand Naval Arm - IGNA. In fact, by all effective means, this was an IGNA armada, not an Igadzra fleet.
The IGNA armada leapt into the system with great force, but it was unnecessary. Only five Akrahd fighters were there. They fell quickly to a mass of SAEs - soon to be upgraded, just in three days, scientists said - and the IGNA ships took to destroying the spacebourne aspects of Ikrahd. This comprised of two space stations and a fuel depot.
IGNA ships barraged these stellars with fire, keeping the fuel depot at a distance. They quickly incinerated everything, landed at the planet, and stormed what appeared to be an abandoned outpost with totally unnecessary marines. Landing to re-organise, IGNA began preparing for their next stage.
Before the depot was destroyed, all but the long-ranged Izagas and Igazradas were refuelled, and requests came in for freighters carrying large numbers of marines. Ikrahd was now a small IGNA striking base - NOT Igadzra Union - and plans had been made already for a new assualt.
Meanwhile, the ITA was becoming stronger...
---------------------------------
OOC: The explanation.
The Igadzra Union is being split right down the middle. Military, and non-military (diplomacy and trading). The military aspect is the IGNA, the Igadzra Grand Naval Arm. The other aspect is the ITA, the Igadzra Trading Authority. This is due to friction within the Igadzra Union Council, with people who disagreed with each other. This was the solution. Much better than what's happening with the Zidagar.
To note, Cerberus will always be ruled by the IAC, the Igadzra Administrative Command, although even that is split into IGNA and ITA.
IGNA and ITA have seperate agendas, and projects. And no, ITA isn't all research - IGNA is miliary research, ITA is non-military research.
Of course, both are slower than the entire Igadzra Union could manage.
Finally, IXD...that'll come later. Hold on.

The Ediens knew they were going to lose. Even on the planet, chaos was breaking loose as all Ediens started killing all slaves. Everyone on the planet, in any fighter, in any warship was insane. And the commander was also.
All of the Edien ships stopped firing at the commanders order. Immeadiatly all ships races to the other side of the planet. Frusterated, the enemy followed. The Ediens came back around and the enemy went around the planet both ways. This nonsense went on for minutes, as the enemy kept surrounding the Ediens until there was no way out. All Edien ships then went still and the enemy knew what a terrible mistake they had made. First the fighters started ramming into ships and if they didn't get close enough, popped with a self-destruction. This did dammage but it didn't much matter. When the capitals started doing it, it mattered. Most ships fled for their lives but the capitals blocked thier way. Hundreds of enemys died as thier fleet was demolished. When the last ships came out of the fire, they immedieatly attacked the planet, sending troops down and taking control. But thier problem wasn't over yet.
------------------ "Are you sure the powers off?"
The council of scientists that was uniting those who worked on the whg met the freshly arrived Federation scientists and their data cards. The Sladerei scientists were probably the most Ťxenphobicť of all Sladerei since they toke pride in all their discoveries. They accepted to share them with other members of the Solidarity mostly if it could help the nation. But now, their patriotic senses were put appart: they were the ones that could help the others, it was enough to know that.
After a lunch with the Federation's physicists, engineers, the Sladerei demonstrated on the Panoramic sreen their first aptempt of creating a worm-hole, fifty years ago, then the one had let them travel to the Milky Way. A visit of the laboratories, the whg itself and other parts of the Savior involved in this project tooke a part of the afternoon.
During the next week, the analysation of the Federation's information and the concordance with the one the Sladerei possed would take much of their time. The sub-space mechanic differed: the Sladerei were using more powerful devices to creat the worm-holes, while the Federation, mainly because of the Kayan's experience, the natural imperffections of the galaxy's edges. This could turn up to be an excellent idea: the energy used to poen the worm-hole could be spent on the orientation instead. The southern and western part of the galaxy was containing more of those, because of the complexity of the two nebula. The problem would be to understand if those disturbations would tend to be more unstable. The unstability created could close the worm-hole and trap the passangers in their own Ťbuble of spaceť, or disintegrate them.
The main goal for the next weeks was to develop a more powerful whg with the new informations and to imagine that worm-hole orientor.
Abort the Savior, the technicians had done a good job with the upgrading of the whg. Three brand new kinetic generator had been build to double the energy allowed to the whg. The machinery had been cleaned and was ready to be modified to housed the worm-hole orientor. Some physicists had ideas about the way they could control the direction: the orientation towards the destination, like one aimes a canon or a continuous direction field that would surround the travellers. The last method would need a vessel that could support the field generator but the precision would be increased. The first method would be safer because the whg would be fixed.
In about five weeks, both prjects would had completed their evaluation process on two teams and the final verdict would be conciderate by the appropriate instances. Untill then, the reasearch was to be completed in order to posses the necessary knowledge to travel... and come back home.

RA thanks the horoth, pushes remaining ships to escort the horoth minelayers. Ship production is also pushed full tilt, and messages are sent to horoth and kayans for equipment, materials, and shipbuilding facilities to help get the ship count back to normal as soon as possible....

MOD: Partial revoke. Though I don't have any problems with the Edien fleet being routed, I do have a problem with the Federation landing troops. That comes later. The 7th fleet will not engage in land combat.
----------------
The 7th Fleet, now that the Edien fleet had been routed, set off for Innirian. Meanwhile, the 13th Fleet jumped in, and only then began to land troops on the planet.
The Battle of Threefrog had been short and decisive, but the Federation knew it would not always be the case. Innirian would be heavily reinforced and alerted, and it would have the battered remnants of the Threefrog fleet (which number approximately 10,000 vessels, making the total at Innirian 70,000)...
The Pirates, now recovered from the attack on RA, began increasing their raids on the Renegade Alliance. These raids were almost constant, and threatening. They were not small 1 ship raids, they were large 20-30 ship raids bent on one purpose; destruction.
The RA had immense trouble dealing with the attacks. They had too small a navy and the Pirate attacks, though they were all repelled in the end, were bringing a lot of damage to the RA.

NGNN NEWS UPDATE!!! At New Galaxy News Network, we bring you only the best Just hours ago, we recieved word that a large Isolationist fleet laid waste to the Zidagar Loyalist colony of Rossoni. All ships and military installations on the planet were destroyed, and all cities and towns suffered heavy damage. Deaths are estimated to be in the 100,000s, and with the Loyalists completely incapable of defending or helping Rossoni, the colony has been abandoned. It is now neutral, a colony in distress in the middle of nowhere.
Meanwhile, riots continue on Titan Prime. Over 15,000 people have been injured, with almost 1,000 killed. Property loss and damage to cities is extreme as the Loyalists struggle to regain control of their capitol.
This is all for our special news update. Tune in at 4 PM to hear the rest of news in the New Galaxy.
After a week of work with the Federation scientists, the whg research team had done significant theoretical progress. The modellisation by computer of their theories had allowed them to formulate possibilities about the way the worm-hole behaves in space. Their idea was to create one the could linked both sides without having to disturb both systems: the transfer of masses could disequilibrate the tension of the "walls" of the worm-hole and let it collapse.
The astromical coordinates that the Fed and the Horoth had gatters about the position of the Andromeda, Large Megellanic Cloud and the Milky Way made it possible to find oout the distances and the energy needed to creat that worm-hole.
The progress was also good conserning the singularity generator, a part of the immense assembly welded to the Savior. The enhancers could allow the whg to form a worm-hole that would be capable of sustainning masses of about one million tons. The problem was that the longer the worm-hole was, the less vessel could travel with it. The calculations had shown that to travel the Savior alone (550 000 tons) to the other galaxy, all it one fourth of its mass had to be used as power generator. An impossible task.
Psack eard the new and was perplexe, the biggest ship was not able to creat enough energy to move itself to the other galaxy. His decision was rapid: since we dig a tunnel that long, we just have to use part of that energy, close the tunnel and dig again. That is what a child does when he digs a tunnel on a beach. It was up to them now to make this solution safe.

OOC: Since it appears you don't have AIM, as it's not mentioned, I assume you leapt in here? You seem to know what you're doing, but leaping in isn't always advisable, and there are a couple of things wrong with your post - generally, how would you get to Kayia in a heavy cruiser, who are you, how do you expect to fight Ediens with one ship?
I'll leave it to Carnotaur, all the while wondering why he moderates my webstory, and I don't moderate his.
OOC: Correct, SD.
Redeye, I would suggest that you don't do really anything in the Milky Way. It's a nasty warzone and being a mercenary pilot there isn't all that fun. On the other hand, the New Galaxy is a lot more friendly to mercenary type pilots.
If you have AIM, please contact me there. My name is CaptainCarnotaur (obviously ). Either that, or contact me via e-mail and we can work out the details of your character.

With Kryptarous sick and evacuated to the eastern half of the empire, Commander Lardzok took over.
He immediately began fortifying both land and space fortifications and strongholds. Akrahd Prime was being evacuated, only troops would stay behind. Missile defenses had been set up to hit ships in orbit, ships were continuing to pour in, and research was continuing on upgrading plasma shields and plasma weaponry. The upgrades wouldn't be great, but they would be enough to give the Akrahd a little extra advantage.
Meanwhile, however, the Akrahd were running out of credits. However, through a secret deal, Lars Magna had contacted Lardzok and had arranged for 15 million credits (yes, Lars is rich, very rich) to be given to the Akrahd, in exchange for some technical knowledge the Akrahd had...

Several dozen jump points formed in the Innarlin system, revealing hyperspace. From the points came dozens of Kiran fighters and slipfighters, all with weapons locked on the Edien ships within. The fighters were simply a diversion of the larger Federation 7th fleet and had come to help lighten the load if but for a bit. Eon heavy cannons and ordinace fire blasted through the ranks of the Edien ranks and in the first past twelve fighters were lost. Yet this did nothing to deter the Kiran fighters and they span around and headed back into the fray. In that next pass, the fighters were all but decimated, but had left a foothold for the Federation.
While the fighters were busy getting slaughtered like animals, Morgan's fleet of remaining ships manuvered in hyperspace just enough to jump out at key locations. They would jump within seconds of the Federation 7th fleet.

The work was going one pretty well and the mood was steadily increasing towards positivism, but the tension was also rising. In a little more than two weeks, the two team working on the different means of direction were now in competition. They were sitll exchanging their data but the relationship in the cafeteria was more epic: they instinctly separated themselve in two and ordered different meals. Psack first noticed this during the weekly scientific-council, those working on the whg were arguing about out of subeject matters. Councellors decided to mixed the teams in order to divert those negative element. Soon or later, it had to be done, when the orientor model would have been chosen, the workers would have to work again together.
The Savior received its last kinetic generator, the biggest one that could be fitted in without changing the whole frame. The theory about the lack of energy that was recquiered to make the journey was being challenge by the calculator and the new parameters discovered everyday: stellar density, distance, speed, acceleration, etc. Everything that could influence the amount of energy needed to keep the worm-hole from collapsing. The singularity generator had started their warm-up procedures in order to redefine their actual power. The mass that could travel over an unknown displacement at a certain speed depended on that constant. The goal was to increase the mass that could travel half the distance while keeping about the same power available in the Savior.
On Grenits, the space industry was not working at full capacity with the funds been transfered blindly to the whg. Only a fighter, a shuttle and two freighters were in the assembly factories. The total opposite was occuring for the mining, construction industries. Their market was growing among the eight cities. The space travell between the Savior and grenits was kept to a minimum, only one way down flights were allowed to secure the undertaken project, the upwards flights were left for materials being used by the wgh and the two space-farms shipyards. About 123 had been realized and were feeding appropriatly one sixth of the land population. In fact, most of the space flights were done by the freighters that were transporting the harvested plants.
Next week, the first military training in the system would take place. They Solidarity council had decided to precipitate this trainning because the Edien had been able to conquert Kelmaon, Ťonlyť four jumps away. The Navy was to be separated in two: the foes outnumbering the Sladerei. The number of vessels that was to be engage was not determined but it would look like a real one, with Sladerei proportions. The reparations would have to be done both on Grenits and on the Savior.
Psack hoped that it would calm the Navy's demands by letting them think less... Otherwise their asses were the ones that matters more than the eaqually few they were suppose to defend.
The 7th Fleet blasted into the Innirian system, and immediately opened fire. The Ediens, though somewhat disorganized, were expecting the Federation and returned fire with a massive barrage. The Federation fleet charged, was pushed back, but only slightly, and they charged again straight into the Edien fleet.
The odds were fairly even; 100,000 ships (the 7th fleet) against 75,000 ships. As the battle raged on, meanwhile, in the Threefrog system the 13th fleet arrived and began to deploy thousands of troops on the surface on Threefrog. It wasn't long before the Ediens had been finally blasted out and Threefrog was secure.
But then, fearing that Scorcher would need help, Admiral Johnson sent an additional 15,000 ships from his fleet (the 13th) to Innirian to aid the Federate ships there.
-----------------
While the battle raged in Threefrog, the Isolationist fleet had finally reached Zidagar.
It was horrendous.
The battle was damaging enough. The Isolationist and Loyalist fleet clashed in a massive space battle. The two stations in orbit of Titan Prime had been destroyed, both of them knocked out by a massive crossfire. What's worse was that one of them had fallen to the surface, killing hundreds.
Zidagar against Zidagar, man against man, extremist against Loyalists. The battle was so chaotic in fact that occasionally Isolationists and Loyalists would open fire on their own vessels. That was because not all Isolationist ships had gotten the new dark blue and dark red paint job.
After the battle, the Loyalist fleet lay defeated, but Arcturus had only lost 45 ships.
As the Titan system lay littered with thousands of tons of debris, the Isolationists opened up with a short planetary bombardment, killing thousands more, and then they invaded.
What followed was a long and bloody struggle for the surface of Titan. The Loyalists were well entrenched, and the Isolationists simply couldn't dig them out. As guerilla and urban warfare continuned, and the fleet still loomed above what was left of Titan Prime, Arcturus wondered where the Rebels would strike next...
As the battle for the surface of Titan continued, a lone Kayan gunship accompanied by an escort of three aradas entered the system, and hailed the lead vessel in the Isolationist fleet. Not getting a response initially, the captain of the gunship asked her comm officer to transmit a pre-recorded message to the Isolationist fleet. The comm officer obliged, and the video image of the captain's face appeared on the main viewscreen as it was transmitted throughout the system.
"Hello, citizens of the Isolationist Movement. I am Ambassador Danya of the Kayan Alliance. Though I realize that your people have serious greivances against the Loyalists, you must realize that you are pitting Zidagar against Zidagar in your struggle for supremacy. I also realize that it would be foolish for me or anyone else to believe that the old Zidagar government could stand again - doubtless some new government will rise from the ashes of this bloody civil war. The question is this: who will be around to witness this new government? Genocide will not help anyone.
I am not here to meddle in your affairs, or to intervene in a war I have no right to interfere with. Instead, I come to offer my services. Let it be known that the Kayan people are available and willing to help with any mediation or diplomatic measures that the Loyalist and Isolationist forces decide to participate in. If you ever feel a need for a peaceful solution, we'll be waiting, ready to help. In the meantime, these three aradas contain medical supples and emergency rations for the civilian victims of the bloody battle on the surface of this planet. I request that these three aradas - which are all unarmed, built to merchant specifications, be allowed to land and aid the civilian victims of this battle. It is the least we can do to help."
------------------ Ad Astra Per Aspera - "A rough road leads to the stars"
Chaos had reached it's climax once, and would strike again.
Two hundred and fifty Rebel Zidagar vessels leaped into Titan. The Rebel ships, watching from afar, had now come to make their revenge.
"We're in the system, sir!" Codax reported to Rathon, who merely nodded. "Sir, will you be leading us?"
Rathon shook his head now. "No. Pull my Zigra back from the battle."
Codax was silent for a long while, not noticing as Rathon, leader of the Rebels, walked out. Codax was a Zidagar to the core, but Rathon was what he described as a "realist". "To the Zidagar!" had changed to "To us!", bravery was put aside, as was the true core of the Zidagar. Codax had heard not one song sung since the beginning of this Rebellion, not in the public, at least. Song was banned, Rathon had said.
Many agreed with him, Codax knew. Rathon was the odd one out, and he had little more than a few loyal guards.
Codax was already planning his actions. For now, victory must come against the Isolationists. The true Zidagar would succeed, and Rathon would be put aside.
---------------------------
Zidaras swept through the sky the fight Zidaras, and the stars seemed tinged by the remnants of the yellow phased beams. Looking out from the Z.S.S Epsilon, Codax saw the grids of yellow beams left over after quick firefights. Watching Zidagar fighters flash by left a shade of purple behind them. The entire scene was beautiful, but also chaotic.
Codax swept his head back, crying out in the joy of combat. The Epsilon was his ship, and he, unlike Rathon, was glad to be in combat.
An Isolationist fighter made a pass at the Epsilon, attempting to strafe round it, avoiding fire. Codax was too fast for that. Manouevring his ship upwards, and round, he convinced the fighter to come round the bottom, weapons blazing.
"To Zidagar!" Codax cried out, obviously enjoying himself. He brought the right side of the Epsilon up sharply, the fighter going streaming past, the pilots skills preventing a near crash. The only way it could escape crash was to travel in front of the Epsilon...
...and a disperal rocket took it out.
Grinning, Codax twisted his ship round, to fight the next opponent, a Zidara...
Zidagar on Zidagar once more, this battle was bloody. Three Kayan Aradas and a gunship found themselves overwhelmed by the renewed battle, quickly escaping, but taking damage through the battle.
The Isolationists fought not as an army, but as countless duels - they fought like Zidagar. Even Zidara's carried fighters went on lone missions, leaving their motherships behind to fight for themselves.
It was chaos, yes, in a form an Igadzra would hate, and an Azdgari would scoff at, unimpressed, but to a Zidagar, it was how battle should be. As remnants of purple and yellow singed the stars, however, it became obvious to even the pilots that they were fighting their fellow brothers...

The Isolationists ignored the Kayans, and fought hard against the Rebels. While 50 ships, along with Arcturus, retreated from the battle, Commander Tavoro maneuvered his Zigra, a Zidagar Battleship (all three factions have them) into position and hailed several other Zidaras and Zigras.
"Attack Pattern Zulu 5; NOW!!"
The line of Isolationists charged at the Rebel fleet. Then, they launched several large, grey objects at the rebels, then headed back the other way. The objects were fearsome weapons; space mines. The Zidagar had very few, only 50 of them, and all were stored on Bokac never to be used again. In fact, the Zidagar never had ANY until the Voinians gave them some to help run from the Ediens.
The space mines (10 of them) floated through space and detonated in the middle of the Rebel fleet, taking down many a Rebel ship as well as some Isolationist vessels that got too close. Though the maneuver had not turned the tide of the battle majorly, at least it had given the Isolationists time to regroup and charge an already weakened enemy...
Morgan watched the battle wage in Innarlin from hyperspace and at the appointed moment, gave the signal. "Helm, alert all ships to drop into realspace...now!" The signal was sent and the engines on dozens of warships glowed as they prepared for the battle.
Dozens of jump points formed in the Innarlin system and from them came the Kiran Palin fleet, their weapons coming to bear on anything Edien. They slammed head on into the Edien fleet like gnats against a human sized object. Even as Morgan's ship blasted through the ranks, eon turrets blasting away at this and that, the captain saw a Blade go down under heavy fire while a Stalker was blasted to so much debris. This was going to be one hell of a messy fight.
The great military training was raging around Grenits, the blue dots on Psack's screen were, as they will always be, the Sladerei or any other friendly nation and the red ones the Ediens. Seven ennemy Alliance Frigates had tried to wipe out the system, but a small squadron of eight fighters coming from Sladeria and another one formed by a two destroyers and four fighter form Jaleis came to participate. The recluded the seven frigates and their fourteen escort back to the southern part of the Grenits system and a squadron a eight fighters came to occupy the space left by the chase the two other squadrons.
Immediatly, an ennemy composed of three frigates, four destroyers and four fighters came to attack. The support squadron did its best to eradicate the menace, but they were easily out numbered and <<destroyed>>. The second ennemy group made its decent towards Sladeria in order to do some land damage. A last attempt of resistance came from the help of five fighters that were able to escape before the destuction of the hangar. Being more maneuvrable than the frigate and the three last destroyers, they forced them to land, otherwise they would have crashed, and pursuided the remaining fighters, that were lacking fuel to defend well themself in the atmosphere.
The result of this training were poor, the coordination between the Savior and Grenits had been disatrous and the time reaction terrible. At least, the pilots were ready to face any ennemy, they only lacked additional help from other vessels.
Psack had made sure that the trainning would be done the day after the Solidarity council, so that the admiral and generals were to be able to decompress and have more time to think about their request. Psack realized that anyone could take possession of Grenits, even if all the Navy was to be used to combat, he turned himself towards the window in order to see, once again the beauty of the planet.
