Lemme tell you a little secret ... The only reason these bars seem so popular is because people keep starting sequels, and they are filled with so much spam and so many members. They have no content value whatsoever, and aren't quite as fun as the old ones. But if these are your cup of tea, go ahead, I don't mind ... I find these very amusing myself.

Ahhh! I was trying to read her entire works last summer. Guess you beat me to it. Did you even read the Petaybee series, and all of the Doona series? I tried to get my hands on the last book, but couldn't find it, and I never really got into the Petaybee series. Hmm, I thought the aliens in TCWF were named something with a K in the front...you're thinking of those black-skinned invaders, right?
I guess my favorites in each series are All The Weyrs Of Pern, Pegasus In Space, whatever the third Crystal Singer book is called, and The Ship Who Searched. Ahh, now there were some good books.

Yeah, All The Weyrs of Pern was amazing. The first one, Dragonflight, was really good too. Jess runs in guns blazing, shoots everybody then steals all the vodka and goes to stand outside.
