You can't buy the Azdgari Warship, but they will let you buy the Azdara Bay, so you can turn a Crescent Warship into something practically identical to the Azdgari Warship in every sense except the colour.

Which is really the most important thing :). It's a pretty hefty bay though @ 180 tons, so you sacrifice almost everything on a CW - does it really have just as much space as an AW? I thought they had more turrets than a CW can get with the bay on as well.
The Azdgari Warship it's self is worthless, but the Azdaras are another story.

I wouldn't say "wothless," but it certainly can be defeated if engaged properly.

Azdaras are considered by many(including myself) to be the best ship in the whole game. That's mostly up to your own opinion, though. By the way, welcome to the boards.
