Okay, I'm doing the Emphlga mission to attack the Romit system, and then to go help with the human attack on the Avann system. I've done it before without any problems, but this time, after I destroyed all the ships in the Romit system, then landed on the station, I took off again, but I'd lost the string somewhere inbetween. Was the something else I had to do on the station I forgot to do this time (i.e. hit the bar?) anyways, I can't seem to get the mission to start over cause I have nothing to abort. and the station is very hostile, so I can't land again unless I take the place over... anyways, I'd really like to finish off the mission, so any suggestions'd be appreciated, thanks

I think that same thing happened to me once... and besides demanding tribute there aren't many options. You could head on over to human independent space and pick up a bounty hunting mission so that a few renegade vessels will follow you. You can make even the Voinians more accepting by showing them you don't like renegades :).
