Hello, I' have been trying to defeat a planets defence fleet but I just can't . I've been working on mavs for two hours and they just keep comming and comming. How do I defeat this planet? If it is possible.

Yeah it really isn't that fun trying to dominate planets, except perhaps in Sumer, Feviry and Emalghion :). I did manage to take Neslaut and Mavs once in an Igazra, but it was very boring and I wouldn't recommend it, and apparently they are in no way difficult compared to some shudders.
A good idea is to get yourself some sort of fighters, recommend Crescent (or Zidagar Fighters / Azdaras if you are that way inclined), and let them do much of the fighting - that's one of the only times they are useful as the defense fleet ships won't hit them at all - just keep going closest target then tell them to kill it :). Another useful thing is a Plasma Siphon to deal with the smaller defense ships!

Here is a maximization of the inferior override engine tip:
If you get the max amount of ships in a system (32 I believe) into a system, and then dominate a planet, the defense fleet will only be composed of one ship.
