Frozen Heart Help

Does anyone know where the starting system is in Frozen Heart for EV, not EVO? I read the files and Read Me's and they don't say. Any help would be much appriciated.

P.S. Don't ask about my rating; I don't think that Soviet mikee likes me.

Should be the same system as it is in FH for EVO, as the two plugs are basically the same. It's the one which occupies the same space on the galactic map as Levo does in Classic EV.

I also have a problem with Frozen Heart:
I've completed everything,except the Black Hole mission,and I don't know where to find it.
What exactly are the requirements which must be met?

You have to instruct the Elite Combat Unit for Lindi Van Roth before the black hole missions become available.

Now that could be a problem
The Tachyonic Fighter can easily maul several Artemis or Falcons or whatever they are,but those Ixaxes like to attack and get themselves killed. :mad:

It may not be strictly "legal," but a way around the escorts suiciding themselves is to
simply command them to stay put using the escort commands immediately upon jumping into
a system. The falcons will go after you, and since the escorts don't interfere, they
will be left alone. If you start getting guilty feelings, you can order the escorts back
into the fight when there is only 1 falcon left, and they should be able to with it
without much risk. Or, conversely, you can clean up all the falcons yourself, and return
to Linda Von Roh (or however it is spelled) and tell her about how her female pilots
chickened out and you had to deal with all the pirates yourself, and that that should be
an example of why females shouldn't be allowed to be space pilots. JOKE! (grin)

PROBLEM:

I solved the emile's killer thread, and Katherine has been abducted. I located her ship
and was sent to the pirates base down on the planet in the bottom right quadrant of the
map, within that nebulae. Anyways, the guy in charge killed himself and had a roll of
film in his hand. The text said to head to the research library, or university library
or something. I went to earth, and everywhere I could think of, but I can't seem to
continue with the plot. My missions computer is blank. Is something fubar? Any clues?

Without re-running that mission or hacking the plug-in for the exact quote, the text said to go to University of Earth research labs, or something similar. Desktop Engineering would be one clue, but the giveaway is it's the only UofE registered system.
Simple, no?

On a similar note, I've landed on Thallos and gone to Earth, and have registered at the University of Earth. But I've been playing and running missions for some time now (several days) and haven't been able to find anything that advances the storyline. I always visit the bar and cyber-hub wherever I go, but no missions have appeared to advance the plot. Anybody have any suggestions?

As you're enrolled in the University of Earth , it would make sense for the plot to start on Earth , no?

Just visit it a few times. Try the bar.

Stuck again. I just got the mission where I have to find the ship that was raided somewhere between Spica and Orion. Trouble is, Orion doesn't appear on my map and I haven't got any idea where it is. Could somebody point me in the general direction of Orion? I'm running short of credits for fuel to explore the galaxy.

Orion isn't a system; it's a constellation. The ship is in Lynx Alpha.
