Ok well I was playing EVO yesterday and I was really annoyed with how my ship was performing and so I decided to Eject so I would no have to fly all the way back to SOL well so I hit command+E and nothing happened so I thought maybe if I selfdestruct then I will eject because I have a auto eject system. Well when the countdown hit zero it says cancelled, see so now I'm very confused. I was wondering If it was because I'm not on strict play?? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to hold down Command-D for the whole ten seconds until your ship blows up.

Sort of a safeguard system so you can't do it by mistake - as you might expect would be necessary :). About the ejecting - as I remember there is no auto-eject in EVO, but you do need to have an escape pod to eject....
Can't you only eject if your ship is exploding, or am I totally off my rocker on this answer?

Besides, do you really want to eject and end up in a shuttle? Surely it'd be less expencive just to sell your ship...?
