----------------------WELCOME TO FLASHPOINT - Part 2----------------------------------- -----------------------AN EPIC ESCAPE VELOCITY ADVENTURE----------------------------- --------------------- Created by Thunder and Esponer --------------------------------------------------
RULES: 1. You may control only your own character. 2. No total destruction. 3. Your posts may only account for one weeks time and one day's action. 4. No undefeatable protections. 5. Tech and Civil advances are made during the set timeframe. 6. Lifepads (small ID modules) may be used indefinately. 7. Thread Moderators may revoke your posts at any time if they do not follow these rules. 8. Anything acquired or developed must be noted. Background developments are allowed only by moderators. New technology is limited to that which exists in EVO. 9. Current technology: The UE has not yet developed the UE Cruiser, the Voinians have not developed the Dreadnaught or enhanced neutron turrets. 10. You must allow time for your opponent to respond in battle. No single-post battles! <Rules 1-8 taken from the EVEA Rooster's Law>
New Rules - Confirmation Yet to be Established 11. Stealing of technology is not prohibited, but players must understand that it is extremely difficult. Hinwar have access to Voinian vessels, but in general reverse engineering ships is a long project.
12. This one is more a request than anything else. Governments, even ones with slow ships, cannot be underestimated. A single fighter, or a small group, could not survive a trip into the space of another government. Thus, a lot of what has happened already is in my opinion not valid, but I do not mind. In the future please bear this in mind.

That's the crappiest code I ever saw. Can I join?
------------------ In keeping with the middle ages theme of today's Blue Peter, we'll be learning how to make our own Iron Maiden. You will need: Some Thick Cardboard Some Kebab Skewers and A bicyle chain.
OOC: The code isn't mine, it's Thunder's, and he'l tell you if you can join. I'm not really in the story any more.
So, I guess the Voinians will need another leader (no, I DON'T want to be the Voinian leader, only Admiral of the Marines), huh?

OOC: I'll try and catch up and continue playing. Just let me see how things go in real life (exams)
What's this thing called 'real life?'
I don't know what's going here: everyone is just talking and no one is playing.
I'm waiting for real post to continue my part of this great story.
The show MUST go on.
Admiral Nelson, proud commander of the ASAR
------------------
OOC: Just do a real post, and others will follow.
MODS: Is the Battle of Ariane over? I've been waiting days for Titan to post his response, and the rest of the story was going on while my fleet stays suspended in the Ariane system.
OCC: is Pariah a renegade base?
- The GROR have done a great job, I say to everyone. We have now the Turncoat in our hands and our best technicians and engineers will work on the captured ship to analysed it.
- I knew it! I knew it! says the Great Clerk. When will the shipyards start to build them?
-I don't know, I tell him. May be 2 post before the study is completed, 2 more to build 1 prototype, and one more to practice.
- So from now until then, we will only need to resist against the renegades? says Frive Cote.
- No! We need to strike with an heavy assault on Freeport, continues Sir J. A. McDonald.
- Sorry Sir, but if we attack, we might not be able to defend ourselves against apossible voinian counterattack. My suggestion is to build about 3 new helians and 4 new Kraits on each planets. And to help our pilots with a better trainning program, so they will almost all be Ultimate skilled pilots.
- Alright, the sir says with resignation.
- Now lets thing about our future tactics...
And we talked during one more hour... we were out of Saalian brandy!
Admiral Nelson, proud commander of the ASAR.
The independant systems already have Turncoats. It was designed on Iothe Prime, I'm pretty sure.
OCC: You are right in one way Lord Gwydion: in the real game, on wich I base my part of this story, the plan were stolen from the independents by the renegades. So, I based my adventure on that fact.
MODERATION: Yes, Jess, you can join. The only real position that's open is independent, unless the indys or renegades want a second-in-command. And there may be a Voinian position opening up if SilverDragon can't continue his role... but that remains to be seen. Independent players can be the most fun part, though... By the way, the code part is fine in the original Flashpoint thread. SD just copied it wrong.
About the battle of Ariane - I believe Admiral Benden responded and sent his fleet to intercept the renegades at Ariane. You can go back to the fifth page of "Flashpoint - An EVO webstory" and see for yourself. If he did not, since in that case nobody would have responded for more than a couple days, then the ruling is that the renegades took heavy losses from the UE defenders, but came out in control of the system. Is that okay with everyone?
------------------ American components, Russian components, all made in Taiwan!

OCC: A vacant place could be needed for the ASAR as a spy that would have infiltrated the renegades. If you'r disposed, go ahead in this role, if not, I don't know. I hope, I have been useful!
That's okay by me except for one detail: I'm pretty sure that the battle would be over before the transmission had reached them and they got into the system.
We should have a link to part one. Here it is: (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum8/HTML/003234.html")http://www.AmbrosiaS...TML/003234.html(/url)
OOC: The best spot would be the Rengades, since they only have kiwi and Lord Gwydion is the (exiled) ambassador to the Renegades. I can't post until SD posts a reply to what I had been waiting for for over a week or two.
------------------ titan's new board click (url="http://"http://pub101.ezboard.com/btitansboard65830")here(/url) to enter
OOC:I did send my fleet to Ariane, and if you think I didn't make it in time, just say so and my older post can be altered.

I'm not the exiled ambassador, I'm the exiled Admiral of the Marines.
Also, I do think that you wouldn't have made it in time, Admiral Benden. You might see charred wreckage in the system though (just a suggestion :p). Anyway, if you think your fleet didn't make it in time, then my fleet goes to Taili, to attack Anna Balashova :evil grin:
MODERATION: Remember, Lord Gwydion, that you took moderate to heavy losses from the UE defenders in the system (ships stationed there plus whatever defense fleet they had). You'll have to remember that your fleet is probably considerably smaller than it was before, though you now control Ariane (do with it what you wish) :). And Admiral Benden's fleet will DEFINATELY arrive in time to counter-attack you at Talii.
Oh... and the UE players can have Anna Balashova evacuate if they feel like it. She doesn't have to stay glued to the surface ya know...
