Um. I'm not a Mod, but I'm sure the only rules are that the tech has to be something in EVO, and has to be given appropriate time for researching and prototype. Oh, and it costs money for every day of research.
Meanwhile, The Emalgha pilots decide that the Emalgha need to know of the hinwar. Someone, please send a radio signal to Emalgha or Gurado, or else We'll have to leave and take the message there....

The ship designers on Isled station begin work immediately, and in about a week have a very basic blueprint ready.
During this time, Lord Gwydion decides to meet Kiwi himself, and has an escort (two cruisers, six frigates) fleet built. He flies through southern UE space (where there aren't many defences) and heads toward Omm to meet Kiwi.

MODERATION: Lord Gwydion - I hope that new ship you're building is either the dreadnaught or the Voinian interceptor, otherwise post revoked. As Redchigh said, the only new technologies allowed in this story is technology from EVO that hasn't been developed yet. You can also swap technology with your allies. For example, you could install needle missles on your ships (provided the renegades gave them to you).
In answer to the question "Shouldn't Pariah be a renegade base?" Fine... I'll add it to the map as well. I wasn't planning to, but fine... -------
On Gualon all was ready. Despite the tightened security, the Hinwar rebels were ready to make their insurrection. Across the entire surface rebels stood ready, merely awaiting the arrival of the UE fleet to begin. Across UE, Voinian, Emalgha, and even Renegade space, tension was building, and with the UE fleet now en route to Gualon, events were about to reach the flashpoint...
At the request of the Emalgha diplomats, Thunder again accessed the cloaked probe in orbit, and used it's rocket booster to set it into a higher orbit, so that a low power signal could reach the distance to Emalghion. After boosting the signal slightly, (it might be barely detectable to the Voinians, certainly not traceable though), he entered a message to Emalghion.
<<Message to the Emalgha>> <<From Thunder, leader of the Hinwar Resistance>> <<Encryption sequence Liadon-6 active>>
You may not know of us, but we certainly know of you. We are the Hinwar, a Voinian slave race, preparing for an insurrection against the Voinians (Wish us luck!). Three of your diplomats have arrived on our world, and have been kind enough to aid us in our efforts. At their request, we are sending this message to inform you of who we are and where we are. A file with that information, as well as a complete galactic map, as near as we can figure (including UE space) is also enclosed.
We also want to inform you of the United Earth (UE for short), a government to the south-east of your space, who are also fighting the Voinians, and with some success too. We think it would be of mutual benefit for all three of us to join in an alliance to protect our people from the Voinians. You can get to UE space by travelling northeast from Kelmaon. There are a series of hyperjump links that will take you around the northeast corner of Voinian space, and eventually into UE territory. It will be clear from the map we have enclosed.

The ship that's being produced is the Dreadnought/naught. Isn't the interceptor already a fully operational Voinian ship?
OCC Bendon, You cannot meet Kiwi on Omm because it's a renegade planet, it is the Allied Systems Angainst Renegades.
Continuation:
The ASAR is now a real attack army:
-4 Helians are based on each planets, plus 3 Kraits.
-The Expeditionnary Fleet (EF) now regroups 5 Helians and 6 Kraits and includes 2 Freight-Couriers that will back up and help to take Freeport and Gorky when the time will come
-The Escort Fleet now regroups 5 Kraits and 2 Helians. It Hyperdrives from DSN-5842 into every ASAR systems.
My personal ship is an Freight-Courier with 4 blaze turrets, 2 needle launchers and 500 needles, with 30 Hunter missiles. An escort of 2 Helians and 4 Kraits.
My Personal Fleet (PF) and the EF hyperdrives in DSN-8584 and in Riomor system to engage Kiwi's Fleet. All these ships are: My personal Freight-Courier plus, 7 Helians, plus 11 Kraits.
Admiral Nelson, proud commander of the ASAR

Lord Gwydion - I thought the interceptor was already a fully operational Voinian ship, but Esponer told me it wasn't yet. Since he never wrote it in the story, and since you are the acting leader, I guess you can change that, though.
As the Purple Sector Fleet orbited Knox in the Mestor system, two Renegade Turncoats jumped in system and deployed their fighters. The feebleness of the attack nearly made Admiral Benden laugh. He ordered all the fighters to launch and engage their target of choice, while the Destroyers U.E.S. Thrasher and U.E.S. Devastator engaged one of the Turncoats and destroyed it a minute later, and soon made similar garbage out of the second. The Kraits lasted long enough to see the U.E. Fighters coming at them. Admiral Benden decided it might be easier to sleep through any upcoming engagements if such stupidity and cowardice were the norm for Renegades.

Kiwi in acknowledgement of their alliance asks for immediate assistance in Riomor or bronev/dospect armour designs.
Kiwi swears very loudly and spills his beer when the ASAR ships jump in, he had been trying to secretely prepare a huge attacking force but now the ASAR ships had seen the 8 turncoats and 17 helians not to mention Kiwi's own Turncoat with 3 blaze turrets and 3 blaze cannons with the normal kraits but also an afterburner and 2 fuel scoops.

Titan's fleet inters the Gualon system. Quickly they attack the station, and board it with 500 marines, then they attack the defending Voinian ships.

Kokoney gives all the brolev and dospect armor he has to kiwi to fit onto some ships as well as a few neutron turrets and cannons. He also offers to help them, though his ship is a scoutship he upgraded it before leaving. it has: a neutron turret, brolev plating replacing normal plating, two blaze cannons, and recently upgraded it with a needle launcher and fifty missiles for Lord Gwydion. He runs to his ship and warms up the weapon systems and the engines.

i just went on and the map is the same, maybe you wrote the wrong site?
what does OOC mean?
Bendon you actually missed 1 turncoat because they fight in 3's now remember, the remaining turncoat jumps back to Freeport and reports the ships, Kiwi prepares a fleet.
MODERATION: I don't know why the new map isn't working for you, it's showing up as the new version on my screen. Is anyone else having a problem with the map?
Also, bronev plating is so heavy that the renegades will only be able to use it on Turncoats, unless they sacrafice weapons from a standard helian. Dospect armor is light enough to fit on Helians or Turncoats.
Continuation: As the UE ships boarded the station, keeping the Voinians aboard too busy to deal with anything else, Thunder picked up a communicator painted red. All across the planet Hinwar operatives held similar comm units, just waiting for the message. Finally it came. "This is Thunder. The UE ships have arrived. Begin the insurrection. All operatives go!"
-----
Explosions rocked the Voinian military headquarters as multiple chaff grenades were launched by Hinwar resistance members. Soon they managed to breach the outer perimeter. Hinwar operatives flooded in through the breach, and firefights broke out all throughout the complex. The Voinians were heavily outnumbered, and were losing ground quickly.
In the main docking bay of the Voinian shipyards in Liadon City, Voinian military officials were frantically running about, preparing to launch their ships to counter the UE threat. Several heavy fighters and two frigates managed to launch before Hinwar operatives blasted their way in, taking control of the docking controls. The main doors closed, trapping all the other ships inside. Meanwhile, on the floor below, Voinian and Hinwar troops locked in a massive firefight, but once again, the Hinwar had the element of surprise, and superior numbers. The Hinwar managed to capture first one heavy fighter, and then a supply ship, turning their cannons on the Voinians. The Hinwar definately had the upper hand.
In the streets of the capitol, Resistance operatives in full riot gear paraded through the streets with megaphones. "Hinwar, our liberation is at hand, join in the insurrection! Throw off your chains and take back your world from the Voinian opressors! Join us!" Hinwar slaves, hearing the message, began joining in, fighting alongside the resistance. What began as a few million freedom fighters had spread to a worldwide movement, in which almost every Hinwar would soon be involved.
Ten Hinwar operatives flooded through the doors into the Voinian munitions stockpile. Fifteen Voinian soldiers responded with neutron fire, killing two operatives immediately. The battle continued for nearly three minutes, until only two Hinwar and eight Voinians were left. "Forgive me, my friends..." One of the remaining Hinwar opened fire on a nuclear warhead, shattering the protective casing around it and setting it off. As he, his compatriot, and the Voinian soldiers looked on in dismay, it detonated. The explosion was visible from space; the shockwave flashed across the surface, leveling the Voinian military stockpiles and training facilities, and badly damaging the military headquarters. Nearly a quarter of a million Voinians and over a hundred thousand invading Hinwar operatives were killed. In the aftermath, the Voinian military headquarters was left in disarray. The resistance troops, having taken cover in what bunkers and ditches they could find, renewed their assult, pouring in through multiple breaches in the security. This time there was no counter-attack; the Hinwar moved in unchallanged and took control of the military headquarters. The planetary defense cannons and the remainder of the defense fleet were under their control.
Across the surface, battles raged. The Hinwar forces, with the element of surprise, outnumbered the Voinians nearly 5 to 1, with more and more Hinwar civilians joining in as they realized the chance they had. Thunder, riot gear and all, broke down the door to the communications center of the Voinian military headquarters. Broadcasting on a wideband frequency to the UE fleet, he spoke, "The insurrection is underway. We outnumber the Voinians, and they are in retreat. We're launching captured ships to help defend the system from reprisal."
Four UE fighters, and 2 captured Frigates, and 7 captured heavy fighters, all with Hinwar transponder signatures all left the surface and joined the UE forces in orbit. Cheers could be heard over all the comm channels as the Hinwar celebrated their first taste of freedom in over seven decades.
"Don't celebrate just yet..." a UE captain stated, " I doubt the Voinians will let this one go without retaliation..."
Kokoney helps prepare the fleet by adding all the armor and cannons he brought onto some ships. He finds out Lord Gwydion is going to meet him and Kiwi on Omm, so he sends trnsmission to go directly to freeport to help with the battle soon to engage. since helping their victory will show the renegades that we mean to unite.

MODERATION: The meeting between the renegades and the Voinians CANNOT be on Omm. Omm is an ASAR (Human Independent) system, and the people wouldn't let a Voinian ship even try and land. Try Pariah or Freeport instead.
Lord Gwydion, upon recieving the transmission from Kiwi, orders his escort fleet to go straight to Riomer. When they get there, they find a huge battle going on. Lord Gwydion orders the Voinian fleet to attack ONLY ASAR, one ship at a time. His own Cruiser will be taking on the flagship. After launching his hand-picked fighters and pilots, he launches four rockets and a barrage of Neutron bolts, and watches them connectÉ
(This message has been edited by Lord Gwydion (edited 05-12-2001).)
Admiral Benden, angry at his blindness for not noticing the third Tunrcoat but glad that one of the other captains spoted it, had his fleet leave orbit and follow it to Freeport. Upon arriving in Freeport, they met very few ships and they engaged the Turncoat. As soon as it was destroyed, they jumped back to Mestor and resumed their previous position orbiting Knox.
Korane spat. "Where is Gwydion?" Korane spat.
The assorted captains looked at each other.
"In Riomor," one said.
Korane slammed his fist. "When he comes back tell him he's no longer welcome in Voinian space!"
"For how long?" Tanath asked, walking in.
Korane pulled out a blaster and shot a number of captains. "I don't know! Until he becomes sensible!"
The assorted captains looked very scared.
Korane looked around. "Organise a Voinian task force. They will expect us to attack the Hinwar - we shall not. Instead we will hold position. After leaving it a few days, we will send 35 or so warships into Hinavar to kill every Hinwar. Every single one."
"Meanwhile, I want the Dreadnought plans continued at Isled. The Voinian Interceptor is complete - I want twenty heavy fighters dissembled and replaced with interceptors."
"Finally, I wish two more Voinian cruisers to be built."
"Get to it..... NOW!

Phoenix gets into his ship and flys towardthe nearest Voinian base. Therehe flys past the revolting fighters and crashes into a squad of Voinians. He then gets into a Voinian Frigate and flys it off the planet.

As the fighting continued, the Hinwars' strength in numbers got the best of the Voinian defenders. City after city fell, and soon all were under Hinwar control. Most of the Voinian soldiers fought to the death, and those that did not were captured and taken into custody, to await trial in UE space.
The Hinwar on the surface of Liadon (when they threw off the Voinian opressors, they also threw off their adopted name, and returned their system to its original name), worked quickly to repair damage to the Voinian defense fleet and the captured Voinian ships. As work continued, Thunder accessed a high powered transmitter captured in the military complex. Meanwhile, captured samples of dospect armor and bronev plating were being transferred to the UE ships in orbit, for study and possible replication in UE space.

Dateline - Hinivar Today the Hinwar people declare their independence from their former slavers, the Voinians. We have recaptured our homeworld, and restored the honor of our people. Thanks are in order to the UE, for without their efforts to capture Liadon Station we could never have been succeeded. All UE and Emalgha ships are welcome in our space, as well as any other friendly governments that might be out there (OOC: That means the ASAR ;)).
