The Voinians have started to increase raids on the Miranu as well as strengthen up their borders in case the Zachit strike back. The Leita system was captured, and now Leita, Priat, and Zanat are being heavily fortified.
The Voinians have begun building up another fleet.

------------------ Recently started playing ROTUE, haven't got too far, haven't seen any new ships.
The attack had the desired affect. The Renegades were totally taken by surprise. The Gunships performed fully up to expectation. With the the CW's as the backbone, Zacha Crusader and Thunder leading the charge, and massive waves of SAD Modules smashing into Renegade forces, the enemy was taken down in no time.
"All targets neutralized. Ok, lets--"
"Zacha Crusader, we're picking up a new fleet entering the system!"
"What?" Impossible. Our diversion worked too well, how could there be more Renegades--
Then he saw it. The very thing he had left behind so long ago. His face became ashen white. He was without words to say for a moment, for he beheld the very thing he thought he would never see again.
"Voinian warships. My God...." he barely whispered to himself.
The rest of the fleet was dumbfounded.
"What kind of ships are THOSE"
"What the bloody hell?"
"They're enormous!"
"These aren't Renegades!"
The formally confident Zacha lines were in a state of confusion, discussing who these new arrivals were. Friend? Foe? What? Only the most vetern and battle-hardend of the Zacha had the discipline to not lose their focus.
Crusader finally came out of shock. To his despair he saw 3 of the Zacha CW's approaching, trying to communicate. "We are the Zacha. We greet you in peace, and--"
Crusader's screaming voice came over the intercom. "GET AWAY! THEY CAN'T BE REASONED WITH!"
As if on cue, the Voinian capital ships opened a rocket volley upon the warships. "What! Look at how slow their projectiles mo---AUGH!" The lead warship, unprepared, was knocked backward by the impact of the heavy rocket upon its light Crescent hull. "Hostile! We got enemy bogies here!"
Crusader's battle sense was fully kicked in now. His shock was over; his only thoughts had to do with totally destroying these bastards who were in his way.
"Zacha Fleet assume Delta formation and blitz, NOW!"
The Gunships did just that, splitting up into 3 groups. 1, lead by crusader, attacked head on. A round of SAD's were let loose, most of which met their targets. Soon close enough for close-range combat, they let loose with their phase turrets. It was just what Crusader feared.
Heavily armored hulls....energy weapons only do limited damage, as I thought.
"Group 1, fall back!"
This was done, as groups 2 and 3 took their roles, flanking the enemy fleet from either side. Crusader took the quick break in action to break down the fleet in action.
The majority of the fleet were capital ships. 40 Frigates, a half dozen Cruisers, and a small escort of heavy fighters. Although the Zacha clearly had the numerical advantage, Crusader could tell that they were having problems. They were unfamiliar with these types of ships, and were soon taken aback by the extent to which the enemy's primary fire was lowering their shielding. Their heavy rockets, though not doing overwhealming damage to their shielding, was throwing them off balance due to the large impact.
As much as he hated to remember, there was no choice. The Zacha were his family now, and without his experience, he knew many lives would be lost unneccessarily--perhaps lives of those he had come to know throughout all these years, since....then.
No. It couldn't happen again.
"All units, assume formation around my position. I know how these guys fight, just follow my lead."
Although some wondered how Crusader could possibly say he knew how to handle these guys so calmly when he had seen for himself what they could do just as they had. But being the seasoned fighters that they were, they knew that the head of battle wasn't the time for asking questions.
thanks to their superior speed, the Zacha fleet got clear of the Voinians and gathered around Crusader as commanded. some were destroyed and many were damaged, but most of the fleet was still intact, it appeared.
"Listen to me. Your turrets should have just a slightly longer range than theirs do. Approach cauticously, and fire from a distance. Use your speed to keep away, let them try to attack with their rockets and use the asteroid fields as your shields. Its just like how we used to take down those big CW's near New Mira, remember? As you do, let loose your modules like there's no tomorrow! LETS GO!"
Crusader actived his afterburner and led the charge. "COME ON, THE COMMANDER NEEDS US!" someone cried, and everyone followed with cheers. They had a plan now, a source of reason in this insane turn of events that none of them quite understood. The Zacha were pumped now, ready to take it to their enemy and exact some serious payback.
The Zacha once again used their speed to come about and did as Crusader said, attacking from all 4 sides--front, back, and either side. As they moved in everyone unleashed SAD's and pursuit missiles, bashing into their hulls. Crusader noted that pursuit missiles seemed to dent the Voinian armor more than the SAD's, a point he noted.
The Voinains fought back with ferocity. Although most were able to avoid the neutron fire, the rockets were another issue. Not necessarily because of the damage they delt, but because the result of the impact sent the light-weight Zacha ships out of control, often causing them to crash into other asteroids--or worse, each other.
The battle went on for what seemed like hours....but soon, it was over. Crusader checked the time, to find that what seemed like a half-day's worth of effort had taken only a half hour. The Voinain ships were finally burned wrecks. The Zacha fleet, though battered, had emerged victorious.
LATER........
After the vicious battle in space, the capture of the North Tip Station was simple by comparison. However, Crusader knew this wasn't a time to celebrate victory. If the Voinians had come up here, then surely they would be elsewhere.....
He decided to return to Outpost Zachit with the bulk of the fleet, and leave Thunder in charge of the force at North Tip Station. "And once I'm gone, send out a transmission to all zacha in the North Tip and tell them to meet with me at Outpost Zachit. I've got a bad feeling about this." Thunder promised to do so, and swore he would keep NT Station under Zacha occupation.
The news of a new hostile force in Miranu/Zachit space sent shockwaves throughout Zacha forces everywhere. All roaming pilots left their posts to meet with Crusader, knowing it was of vital importance for him to bring all avaiable Zachit into ONE place, something which hadn't happened in a generation, if that. Many patrol fleets were sent up or remained under orders however, to ensure the North Tip would not remain undefended.
As Zacha fighers and Aradas came from all over and yet another new fleet was being massed at Outpost Zacha, Crusader was busy going over the reports of what had happened. The Voinians had already taken 3 systems, and were raiding the inner Miranu worlds to their terror. The meager Crescent Fighter patrols there were wiped out in no time. Frantic pleas for help had come from all over, asking for salvation from the Zachit.
And here he was, Zacha Crusader, their leader.
That meant fate of the Miranu people literally rested in his hands. He could not afford to fail. If he did.....
But no, he couldn't consider that possibility, could he?
With that thought, he completed the final draft of his briefing, where he would outline what scouting had told him and what their plan would be.
The Zacha produce 148 Gunships at Outpost Zachit. This will leave 5 CW's and 250 Gunships there once the rest of the fleet returns. 50 Gunships remain behind to act as North Tip Station's occupation force. Further, thanks to the orders commanding the presence of most of the Zacha at Outpost Zachit, it is estimated that as many as 200-300 Zacha Aradas and Fighters will be arriving. ETA: 1 post.

Carnotaur was furious that his fleet did not arrive in time. However, that wasn't a problem. Photon weaponry would be done soon (in 3 more posts to be precise), and that particular fleet wasn't armed with Phase Neutron weapons (remember that UE Crusader, Phase Neutrons are like normal Phase guns except they have the damage of neutrons).
Another fleet was instantly assembled. Shipyards went to 340%. Ships rolled off the assembly line one after another within just a few days, a fleet of 50 Voinian warships had been assembled at F-25. Another fleet assembling in Leita was had 90 ships, and more were coming in by the hour.
This time, there would be no foul ups. All the Voinian ships would be loaded with as much weaponry as they could. Raptor Rockets, Phase Neutron Cannons, Borb Armor, all superior to the Zachit, would bring the Voinians to victory.
The fleets will be ready next post.
Jess recieves report of a huge Zidagar fleet moving into unprotected Azdgari territories. She and her fleet hyperspace in behind them and destroy them. She looks around the now empty solar system. Age old enemies, unprotected. Soo tempting... no. Maybe this is just the opportunity to break the old hatred. She lands on the planet, where Azdgari are cheering. A good start. Before leaving the system she leavs some troops behind on the planet. Maybe they can get along...

CONTINUATION:
ESPilot's fleet, now without a job, picks up the distress signal from Zacha Crusader, and heads to Outpost Zachit. He goes through (I can't remember what it is) and is horrified when he sees.....of all things.....Voinians! 3 Cruisers, 10 Frigates, and 12 Heavy Fighters! The voinians were annihilating the Crescent Fighters which fought vainly against the super-strong Voinian armor. ESPilot says "All fleet ship, prepare for battle, we're not letting these Miranu suffer the Voinians' tyranny!" ESPilot's fleet, having had past experiences with Voinians, launched their pursuit missiles at full force with devastating effect on the armor, quickly taking out half the Fighters while pummeling the others with phase fire and rockets.
The other fighters are taken out, with 2 Aradas lost, with 5 Aradas left. The Frigates are within firing range, their rockets knocking back the light Aradas. The Frigates are pounded by phase fire, while their neutrons attack the fleet's powerful shielding (which has been greatly increased by the Tomato shield generators). The Aradas and laziras launch their dispersals, while the 3 heavy carriers launch their SAD's. An Arada goes up in flames, followed by another, and then the Frigate is destroyed. ESPiilot realizes they're against bad odds, with 9 more Frigates and the 3 Cruisers approaching.
He says "Heavy Carriers 2 and 3, launch your Aradas and hurtle them straight into the Cruisers' bridges!" The Aradas are launched from the docks, and one Aradas speeds towards each of the cruisers' bridges. They ram into their targets, causing massive explosions from the Voinians Cruisers, with one Arada left. By now 2 more frigates were destroyed, as well as another Arada and one Lazira badly damaged, leaving 3 Laziras, 3 CW's, 1 Arada, and all 3 Heavy Carrier TT's against 7 Frigates.
ESPilot says "All right, give 'em everything! All ships with bays, launch fighters! When they run out of ammo, ram them straight into the enemy! All other ships, bombard them with all ranged and close in weapons and full-force phase fire!" The ships did as they were told, and instantly there were explosions going off everywhere, roaring rockets slamming into armor hulls, phase blasts and missiles denting and scarring Voinian armor, Crescent Fighters ramming into the Frigates, Aradas firing phasers, ships blowing up, when the last Frigate is destroyed. ESPilot mentally tallies up the losses of his fleet: all crescent fighters, a Lazira, and 3 Aradas. They land and rehire the lost escorts and proceed to Outpost Zachit, hoping the odds won't be the same if there's another battle........
ESPilot, please make that post a bit more realistic. After all, the Voinians had their armor also greatly enhanced by Borb Armor, and they have Raptor Missiles and Phase Neutron weapons which are also quite devastating. The Voinians would have done a lot more damage to the Zachit fleet than that.
Also, everyone, remember that Voinian ships are now much faster than they used to be. With technilogical help from the Azdgari, their ships are now noticably faster.

The Voinian raids continue, ever growing bigger and more severe. The Zachit are crumbling! They can't keep back the masses of Voinian ships which continue to grow and and attack in greater number and force!
The two Voinian fleets are ready. The first one has 100 ships, and more are on the way. The second has 55 ships.
The second Voinian fleet attacks Hrekka. They attack with such ferocity and power that the first wave of Zachit vessels doesn't even get off much more than 10 rounds of fire before a wave of weapons fire from the Voinians blasted them apart. The second and third wave were repelled, then the fourth wave clashes head on with the Voinians! Weapons fire flies everywhere! Total chaos ensues and the Voinians pick off the Zachit one by one. Soon, the Zachit fleet flees, and the Voinians board and capture North Tip Station. Then, 15 more ships arrive to help secure Hrekka, and the Voinians are trying to bring up more.
Meanwhile, the first Voinian fleet attacks none other than Mira itself**! Moving in towards the planet, the fleet clashes with the few Miranu interceptors in the area and then begins light planetary bombardment (NOTE: It classified it as light because only stray weapons are hitting the cities. The Voinians are just trying to knock out all the military installations.)
Then the entire defense fleet is launched! Fighters fly everywhere! Vessels collide! Weapons fire fills the skies of Mira! After 14 hours of fighting, the Miranu have been beaten back, and the Voinians have landed over 4 million troops on Mira, and about 5 million more are coming. Then 25 Voinian warships arrive to help reinforce Mirava; the Voinians only have 60 ships left from their original fleet.

The Igadzra have had many dealings with the Miranu. Realizing that they are not powerful enough to contend with the apparently super-voinians, Jess chooses her alliance with the Azdgari to be the most important to her, and sends 100 Igazras to support the Voinians.

"Sir. We just got a report that the Voinians have captured most of Miranu space."
"What!? They had no reason to attack them! The Miranu are peaceful! Without the Miranu, our trade income will fall, and prices will get blown sky high!"
"I don't think they took that into consideration when they attacked."
"I will send him a message. You are dismissed."
The ensign walks out.

Well, all i'm saying is i want to provide a one-stop site for everybody to go to get the latest news and announcements for all the major stories. You can submit anything you want people that come to the site to see and it will be posted. As well, you can post anything you feel would benefit the entire community to be featured at the top of the main page. Anything you can provide would be appreciated.
Jess goes to see Nova. "Nova, don't you see what will happen? The Voinians are obviously going for total domination. Feuding as we are, we are an easy target. You know that even infrequent alliances like ours never last long." The Igadzra/Azdgari cross looks grave. "We have to unite properly. The Zidagar too. Not just an alliance, we should merge back into the one race we once were. I believe that this is the only way to ensure the survival of our peoples. With our combined technologies we will be very strong. Then we can think about pushing the Voinians back. Will you let a feud that no one even remembers the reason for destroy us?"

ESPilot's fleet jumps into the Azdgari system after deciding the Zacha didn't stand a chance, and land on Xarnes. ESPilot and the captains of each of his ships, 1 human, an Emalgha, 2 Hinwars, and 5 Strandless pilots. They enter the Azdgari Headquarters, and are stopped by a guard. "Who are you and what do you want?" ESPilot draws a phased disruption rifle from his back and says "You can let us in, or we make you let us in. Your choice." and the guard quickly moves out of the way. Then enter Nova's office where he and Jess are and he says "If you're to make war on the Voinians, we'll help you without question. We have ships, technology, seasoned soldiers and pilots, you name it." He then waits for the answer......
Nova6 is rather stressed. The Igadzra leader is in his office along with ESPilot and his commanders, and they are preposing to revolt against Nova6's main ally. Nova6 finally speaks, "Jess, I don't quit like the idea of being one government. But, with the current circimstances, I can't refuse." Then he turns to ESPilot. "I'm not sure I want to attack the Voinians, yet. But when I decide you will be the first to know." And with that he walks out of the room.
