i heard of something called siphon plasma or something like that, and that it is available after you help destroy the rock. any info on how to get it would be helpful.

Plasma Siphon to be precise :). You need 10-15 tons cargo space to do the mission to pick it up, and you need at most a 2-days-per-jump ship to make it in time. Being kind and all as they are, the Igadzra will apply it to any ship you buy in the future too, unlike the Zidagar and their Systems Upgrade, or the Azdgari and their Experimental Generator!
yeah the plasma siphon is wicked for use against the azdaras.
Definitely! It stops them in their tracks and really disorientates them - hopefully leaving you enough time to leave them dead!
and its powerful enough that their shields(which otherwise recharge at a blindingly fast rate) dont have time to recharge.
In 1.02 it doubles as a fuel scoop as well.

cool! well i got the exp. generator in an arada. i dont think it matters what ship you get.

Then, you can't get the plasma siphon in that pilot, since you need to do the Igadzra (spelling? damn strands) missions to get it.

I had stripped the turrets of my Igazra in order to put neutron ones on it - on the way back home to Voinian space I came across some Human Renegades in Omm. I took out 2 Helians, 3 Kraits and a Turncoat using only my Plasma Siphon. Then I was recognised by a UE destroyer in Vorik before landing - I got him disabled using only Plasma Siphon, but another one snuck up and finished me off :frown:. It really is a wonderful secondary!
There's another thread on the boards at the moment where a lot of people are saying the PS sucks... it's good to know it has its adherents as well! I am one of them, though I seem to send almost every pilot through the Iggy mission string nowadays... must try the Ziddies in 1.0.2, some time...

I like to use the Plasma Siphon, but I rarely notice whether or not it is good, because a rain of phase turret fire from my Igazra <I mainly use the special ship for each Strand when I play for them> often hides the damage the PS does.

i am now working for the iggies with another pilot. i just got the plasma siphon, and have to take out a warship. i have no clue where it is. help would be great!
