Since nobody is representing the Miranu right now, I will speak for them:
Pikera slowly stands up, his white-garbed bodyguard rising with him although less obviously. He feels slightly faint, but this is no time for that. It had to be time-gap sickness- he left Mira at 3:71 in the morning (Mira days are 19 Lrima long, each hour 80 ho'oam long.) But now it was the eqivalent of early evening on station unity. He clears his throat and begins to speak: "The Corocians wish peace, but their demands alone in a peacefuil galaxy could provoke war. We come here not to ask from others, but to give to all. The Corocians are rich and powerful: more powerful than any other force in the galaxy now. Yet they make the hashest demands. If the peace conference goes well, all must be equal. There must be no conflicts in a peaceful galaxy.I suggest that we instead look to..." He topples over, fainted dead away. His bodyguards rush in to revive him, but he cannot be revived. Suddenly one of them shouts: "F'frassa poisoning! Pikera has been poisoned!" Paramedics rush in and cart him away. Pikera will probably survive: if the early symptoms of the slow-acting poison are recognized quickly, the antidote to the slow acting poison, derived from the leaves of the balma plant, will likely be successful and the poison not fatal. The first symptoms usually occur weeks or even months after the poisoning occurs...
By the way, I'm not suggesting that anybody present poisoned him.

Carnotaur suddenly stood up, his guards ready. "Who did this?" Carnotaur demanded. He turned to Samurai. "I present the service of the Corocial Secret Service (CSS) in the search for the culprit, and in obtaining the antidote!"
Then he turned to the other delegates. "I've decided to change my demands. I only want 3 million per each base, and 7.5 million for war damages. However, I will not abandon Sol or Saalia."

The paramedics have gotten Pikera to the sick bay, now the antidote, derived from the colonial bacteria that live on the ball-leaves of the balma plant (native to Gorky,) is needed.
While the Station Unity crew looked through every cargo hold on the station, looking for the needed antidote, several members of the Station Unity security team boarded a Zidara that had been part of the construction fleet (the transponder had been changed from "Zidagar" to "Unity") and immediately set course for Gorky, to attempt to bring back the needed plant. About this time, a security officer entered the conference hall and spoke with Thunder.
"I have just recieved news," Thunder reported, "that Pikera is in stable condition in our medical bay, but is in need of an antidote made with a plant native to Gorky. We have been unable to find any of this plant on board, and will have to get some from Gorky in order to cure Pikera. A Zidara from the Station Unity construction fleet has been sent to Gorky to buy and bring back some of the plant. If any of the delegations here would like to provide an escort, it would be more than welcome. Also, the medical staff have confirmed that the poison entered Pikera's system over 5 weeks ago; before the conference was even scheduled."

I will send the Corocian Cruisers C.R.S. Death Ray and C.R.S. Grim Reaper to escort it. Sorry about the names though, it was the captains ideas.
Will nagotiations continue?
"Wait... Thunder, can you get me an open line to that Zidara?"
"Sure thing, Samurai, why do you want it?"
"I think, if we feed the Zidara the initiation code, that we could use the old UE Warpgate to get it to Gorky much faster."
"I thought that it was destroyed?"
"Only the trigger machinery. The main opening beam structure is still intact on New Chicago. We've been building some new trigger equipment, and we just finished a few days before the conference. Do you think it's worth a shot?"
"The sooner Pikera is healed, the better. The Zidara captain is on the line now."
Samurai mutters some instructions to the pilot. He types in a few lines of encrypted code, and then wishes the pilot good luck. The line is terminated.
Just then, a medical person runs in. He addresses Thunder. "Sir, Pikera has taken a turn for the worse. We've never studied the poison's effect on Miranu before, but it seems like it's been fed directly into the bloodstream by Pikera's kidneys. We need that antidote as quickly as possible. Without it, well... without it all we can do is to try to stall the poison from reaching the brain. Luckily, it's fairly slow-moving, which is why he hadn't felt any serious effects for this long."

Samurai, did you have the C.R.S. Death Ray and C.R.S. Grim Reaper go along with the Zidara through the warpgate?
Yes. Sorry I didn't specify that, but you posted about the escort when I was writing my post.
A greenish glow forms in the space just above Gorky's exosphere. Out of it speed the Zidara and its two escorts. As the glow rebounds upon itself and dissiapates, the Zidara is intercepted by the C.F.S (Captains of Freeport) Clockwork Orange , an Anaconda on routine patrol duty. Upon notification of the crisis, the captain supresses the crew (who dearly wished to loot the ship) and sends a message down to Gorky. In three hours, a couriurpod brings 5 ounces of the precious antidote to the Zidara, and is informed that the antidote costs 50,000 credits- 10,00- credits an ounce! (The colonial bacteria only form one .2 ounce superstructure per plant, and only on plants growing under certain conditions. Money donated by Entropy pays for the antidote, and the Zidara and its escorts make all speed to reach the warpgate in time.
Scuse me I can go hello in two jumps.

The Zidara and its escorts quickly reach the warpgate, and soon end up in the Unity system. After hastily being given permission to dock, the Zidara offloads its cargo on Station Unity. Then, the vital medicine (sp?) is brought to Pikera...
Blackwing, you're almost about to start spamming.
Thunder and several other of the leaders looked on as the cheif medical officer aboard Station Unity administered the medicine to Pikera. His vital signs remained stable.
"Will he be okay?" Thunder asked.
"The Zidara got the medicine here just in time," the medical officer replied. "Pikera should make a full recovery, though he won't be on his feet for at least another 24 to 36 hours."
All the leaders breathed a sigh of relief. Pikera was still unconsious, but he would recover soon.
"Well, a lot's happened, and I suggest we take a rest," Thunder suggested. "It's late... we should adjourn the conference for the day, and we can begin again tomorrow morning. We still have a lot of important matters to discuss."
Two days pass.
Pikera has fortunately made a full recovery, and is feeling well enough to continue the conference. All the leader sit down once more, and Samurai begins to speak.
"With Pikera healed, it is now time to continue the conference. The only statements the UE will make are the following:
1. We wish to be allowed make a new capital world on Huron. 2. We will pay 3m credits to the Corocians/Renegades in war damages. 3. We wish to continue on with at least 6 colonies. 4. We have no objection to weapon/ship production limits.

The Corocians will not give Sol over. We will go to war to keep that system.
