So there's some irony in there.
But actually........ Let's see...... The Krait is good at....... well........getting blown up.....
The Krait is there for two reasons. A) To provide a pirate ship you can destroy easily in your Shuttlecraft and feel proud of your achievement - two Kraits can't withstand one Shuttlecraft with 3 blaze cannons and IFF. To provide the ultimate challenge - to play in one of those things.

Actually, Kraits are pretty useful when you've got three of them in your maxed out fancy warship. But other than this. Kraits are a death sentence to those brave enough to fly them.

Yeah, the defender had more the speed of an Azdara - which would certainly be nice on a Krait :). But otherwise they're pretty similar - not that fun to fly and all.

Bahhahahahahahaha! I laugh when I see Kraits.....They barely scratch the shield. The only danger I've ever been in from them is when there were 50 swarming me, but that was on a mission, and my repulsor beam kept them away. I mean, seriously, a Krait can either flee, or die.....Those are pretty much it's options!
