This forum is for people who want to share their ship type and equipping. Feel free to ask advice on whether your equipping is the best, and generally talk about which upgrades are good.

My ship is a Crescent Warship. I have removed the fighter bay and phase turrets. I then popped in four neutron cannons and some shield capaciters and a bunch of SADs. I brought the cargo down to fifty tons and have all the Azdgari shield recharge stuff. I can take down a fleet of Voinian Cruisers with this ship.
I must also say that it has been proven that it isn't the ship but the pilot that makes them valuable :).

I have the UE Crusier with heavy upgrades. It's still a little on the slow side,even though I've made all the upgrades I can for speed.I traded in the blaze turrets for phase turrets.I have something like 5 turrets.I have a UE fighter bay and about 4-5 fighters. Since I joined the Azgdra(sp?)I have upgrades from them too.Also a cloaking device(it was sooo hard to get it on the UE Crusier with out cheating,because once you buy a different ship it goes with it.)And no, I don't think it's the perfect ship and I'm glad,because if you have the perfect ship the challenge of the game fades.

Mine is a Crescent Fighter, although sometimes also a Crescent Warship. Phase maxed out, speed upgrades, keep fighters in warship, Azdgari shield upgrade in Crescent fighter (different pilots)
UE Cruiser. 2 SAE launchers (Igazra versions), a couple SAE modules, 4 Shield Enhancers, ECM system, 5 Neutron Cannons and dospect armour(after finishing Pareen Station missions), 5 UE fighters, and many other smaller adjustments

Currently I've been playing Escape Velocity much more then Override. I'm using the "Galactic Scourge" (highly recommended) plugin, and having a blast. I currently own a Diphiden Fighter, with normal shields of 45 and armor of 15. (It kills the Rapier anytime) It is armed with five proton cannons. Other outfits include armaplast, fuel tanks, shield capacitators and generators. I bought a cargo pod, since standard cargo space for the Diphidan Fighter is only five tons. I currently own 2.5 million credits, all taken from corvettes and kestrals.

Mine's a UE Crusier, the U.E.S. Killer, with 1 layer of Bronev Plating, 5 Phase/Blaze Turrets, depending on where I am, 2 Hunter Missles Launchers (20 Missles), UE Fighters, all engine upgrades, 4 Shield Gens., Azdgari shield rechrage stuff, 2 fuel tanks and fuel scoops, and various other things that I have forgotten. It is the perfect ship for me, because of its firepower, it captured my fleet of a 2 Zidaras, Igadzra Arada, and 3 Igazras, now nothing can touch me!

UE Cruiser. Dospect armor. 5 Phase turrets and more than 80 SAD modules. 6 Igazra escorts. They can down a Voinian Cruiser in 7 seconds. (Plus I got RCS & Azdgari upgrades. 120° turning.)

If I take my time, and act like a SMART pilot, I can take out a Voinian Cruiser pretty easily. On the Dreadnought mission, my backup was totally obliterated when he was at 54% shields. Thus meaning I pretty much destroyed the Dreadnought myself.
Ultimate, favorite ship (though I am growing close to my falcon): A.E.S. With this ship, I've probably taken out 2/3 of the Voinian Navy, perhaps ALL the North Tip Renegades and South Tip Renegades, both Human and Alien, maybe 1/4 of the Zidagar Navy, and a few Igazras. I prefer not to play with people who are semi-smart and can have a longer range than I.

DOESNT anyone use the igadzra any more.... this is how i think i had it... igadzra sell the SAE's buy thrust RCS speed upgrades 2 fuel tanks how ever many mass expansions 4 sheild enhancers 1 sheild generator 2 phased beam torrents(but you would no about that un;ess u play UEVORPG(link found beloe)) and some other mid grade weaponry as well. i dont really need any thing else though.

It seems like lots of people use the UE Crusier.
I prefer the Igadzra. I have a bunch of shield upgrades and a layer of Dospect armor. I use 5 phase turrets, the SAE launcher, and a Miranu defense pod launcher (I've found it necessary - fighter absolutely devastate the Igadzra if used en masse). I think that combination is the favorite ship I've used. I have a bunch of other items on it, such as fuel scoops and fuel tanks and an auto refueller and such.

I thought my Igazra with 4 phase turrets and a phased beam was good, especially seeing it was without plugin help :). The only thing I didn't like about that was that the only way to fill up the huge amount of space on the Igazra was with secondaries.. and I'm not a big fan of secondaries! It had a plasma siphon (okay), crescent fighter bay (good for dominating planets), phased beam (with 10 jumps of fuel it's worth it) and SAE modules, which are just a pain, because if you use them too far from Igadzra it's not too exciting going back to buy more.
Anyway, what about the highest trade-in value? I think I got upto almost 18M when working with Azdgari - of course it would be with them... like 9M dedicated to their stuff!

I just got a Miranu Gunship for the first time. Far from perfect, but a good ship for the price. My current gunship, Tzu's Art(anybody catch that?), has each of the engine tune-ups maxed phase weaponry, 4 shield enhancers(it really needs them), 2 dispy launchers, and 15 dispersal rockets. I've not done any of the strand missions, nor, for that matter, any non-cargo UE missions. I decided to wait till i got the ship I'd stick with before i'd get the cloaking device(I don't understand why it isn't transferable). Though the Lazira is a better ship in all regards except top-speed I think I'll stick with this ship for the rest of the game, just because I haven't before, novelty and all. It is now quite late, and sleep=good.

Mate, you have to get a ship with reclining seats and a drink holder. Anything else, no matter how upgraded, isn't worth it. I reccomend a slightly modified Scoutship, or a slightly modified Arada. Give me a buzz on the commlink, and I can do the modifications myself. See you all around.

My Igazra has bronev and dospect armor. All the normal speed and turn upgrades. It has 8 defense pod launchers with 60 pods. Sp. Up. : Cloak, Z. EMC, P. Siphon and systems upgrade. This is not a cheat ship. You can work for 2 strands in the regular game. I do not use the shield enhancers but I did find something cool about them. Shield enhancers do not increase recharge times so they actually increase your recharge rate. If you were in an azdara you could actually double your recharge rate. This is just an FYI.
My ship is possibly the best freighter money can buy!
Name: Indulgence Type: Miranu Heavy Freighter Outfits: One Emalgha freighter to warship upgrade, 80 Mass expansions, one Zidagar systems upgrade, 1 Mine layer, 50 Space mines, two Phase turrets and two Phase guns (I have a slightly modified version of EVO) + a cloaking device, escape pod, both ECM systems, Fuel upgrade,s and Engine, Thrust, and RCS upgrades, not to mention, marines, sensor upgrade, and the NPD Cargo space: 100 TONS!
This ship can eliminate anything slower than it and most ships that are faster. It relies on the heavy artillery of it's space bombs to win a fight, and there's still tons of room for me to smuggle weapons and brandy. By far, one of the ultimate ships!
