I was playing the Voinian missions the other day. I heard you could get the bronev plating from them. I ran all their missions including destroying the Emalgha mines. I still can't get the damn plating though. Sorry this is just really bothering me. Thanks for any advice...

Well, I've never played the Voinian missions. But my guess is that you haven't completed enough of the mission string. Either that or you're not looking in places with a high enough tech level. Try looking on Voinia itself.

No. You can not get Bronev plating on the UE missions. You can get Dospect, however.

So...You did the Voinian Missions to destroying the Kelmaon Mines, correct? And you can't buy Bronev, correct? Well you might try searching one of the 'higher' Voinian planets (if you know what I mean by 'higher'). I've done basically all the Voinian Mission string, but I'm sorry to say that this is all the help I can give. And no, you can't get Bronev from UE Missions, but you can get Dospect at Paaren Station once you do the missions for it. Personally I find it convenient.

There must be something wrong with your version of EVO then. It is the Kelamoan mission that allows you to buy Bronev plating. Either that, or your looking in the wrong places. Like Espilot said, you need to look at worlds with higher technology. If the former is the problem, reinstall EVO and move the old pilot files and plugins to the new copy of EVO.

I have done this mission set before. Try the Voinian homeworld. Also I believe the Voinian planet nearest Emalgha has bronev. I am sure there are other places though.
I'm pretty sure it's only at Denlon in the Fridion system that you can buy the Bronev Plating - and you'd better have 60 tons of space readily available :).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a mission about Bronev Platin for the UE in some plugin? I think it's EVO Plus... yeah I'm pretty sure, tho I could be wrong. I think you get it at Paaren Station.

It may be possible to get Bronev Plating while working for the UE if you dominate Voinia or Borb Station. But then again, if you can capture Voinia, you most likely don't need Bronev Plating.

The key word was "may." I admitted I wasn't sure and was looking for somebody to confirm what I had said. I apologize if I sent you off on a wild goose chase trying to capture Voinia.
Witten -- sorry. I was just a little touchy :D.... but, nah, 't'aint possible.
Feast -- dude... just work for the Voinians, finish the kill Emalgha missions, and fly around a bit. If Voinia doesn't sell it, then you have a problem.
You might be able to get bronev plating in the Pareen Station plug-in that lets you get all Voinian tech at Pareen Station. But, I don't know for sure, I haven't finished playing it through yet.
Also, if the creator of that plug is reading this: It's pretty cold blooded that in the part to get the heavy fighter tech you kill an innocent bystander.
