I've finished the first central objective with the UE and voinians, the azdgari central objective, explored the nebulas and blown up the Rock. What happens next? Do I just fly around until I get bored or are there more major objectives to finish? And do you ever completely destroy the Voinians? Oh, I know about the "Free Huron" mission. I just haven't bothered to do it yet.
Only Azdgari? You can start a new pilot file and do the mission strings and maybe say do the Igadzra or Zidagar missions. I've done basically every mission string available on seperate pilots, and I feel the same as you do now. Nothing but the same old battles against the same old ships, it gets really boring. The bad thing is, I've been searching high and low for a good fight for Moments of Pride and Accomplishment for a good while now, and haven't found a single worth-telling battle.

Get bored? Thats what is so good about EVO! NOTHING except the plots are the same! You could do the same battle with the same pilot with the same upgrades in the same ship 20 times, and have a different outcome each time. I do admit flying around with no mission can be a bit dreary, but just go to one of the fronts, and blast at your enemies.
There are the sub plots. They include freeing Huron, the Needle Jammer, Anna Balashova, and other various items. Try to complete as much as you can. The universe can become quite different!
Also, if you finish all of these, because you are with the Azdgari, go on some raids with them. Those are always fun!

The mission to blow up The Rock is at the end of the Zachit mission string. It starts at Outpost Zachit and is available when you have a dangerous, or is it ultimate, rating. First you will be entitled to do renegade terminations for them, and eventually when you have a good enough rating with them you'll get a bar mission of more importance :).
Anyway, I'm in the same position as ESPilot, having done all the mission strings that are available. I don't really enjoy dominating systems - or the bounty hunters that harass you as a result. And the motivation for engaging in battles outside of missions is really lacking, as no good can come of it :frown:. But for some reason I'd still play the game!
And if you want to kill the Voinians altogether you'll have to look into plugins - 'Reign of the UE' has been talked about quite a bit, but sounds a bit dodgy with UE destroyer bays if you ask me :).
