Ok, so many fo you that ahve read my earlier posts know that i was speneding time on the fringes. I started killing renegads and i became a Zachit. Anywho, I just wanted to get some extra fuel tanks for my little UE destroyer, so i stoped by at a Zidagar port. i get my extra fuel tank, and vist the space port bar. All of a sudden, they say "This base in under attack byu the renedagas" I take em out, and then i head to Zidagar home world. To make a long story short, i help out this dude who becomes a comander blah blah blah
Anyways, i get me a Zadara ship, and i ehad back to UE space to show it off. i get the Dreadnough mission, and i whoop the Dreads ass. They only pay me 2 and a half million credits (yea i know im kinda greedy) but i gave up all the money i had to buy this Zadara and its fighters and some escorts and some missles. The total cost easliy makes over 1 million, probably 1 and a half. So after trying alot, giving up my UE ship, and spending 30 mins trying to kill a Droughnut, all i get is a trip back to Zidagar and buy two more fighters and all that plus about a million. Alot of work, i was hopping for some tech or some ship, but i guess i got it all

I usually go with the Zidagar or Azdgari when I play. Never underestimate the Zidagar mass expansion upgrade and the Zidagar ECM, even if the Zidara is crippled by the inability to sell its Phased Beamers. Now the Igadzra are the Strand that has nothing to offer. I'm not a fan of Igazras and the Plasma Siphon isn't a great weapon. On several occasions while Monty Pythoning with Phase Turrets and a Plasma Siphon I've died, not realizing I was being fired back at since the Siphon is so loud and covers any enemy fire in your path.

in my opinion, Ambrosia did great on the strands. I think the Azza have the most ships(those fighters in numbers...owww) the izzs have the best ships(You may not like the Izagar, but ive seen it take down fleets), and the Zids have the ebst weapons and outfits(the beam is deadly if you can spare the feul- and the ECM in PHAT! Plus those fighters) You may disagree with something, but i got some facts to back my opinions, so i believe i can meriat them
I think the Zidagar systems upgrade is one of the best things you get - what is it 25 tons? extra space at no cost - it makes the Zidara far more useful for a start. But I do think the Zidara should come with more standard! It should definitely be able to get the 3 phase turrets it has the capacity for - fighting with only 2 is pretty painful when the phased beam only has 6 jumps of fuel maximum to run :frown:. So I think the Zidara should come with at least 5, if not 6 jumps of fuel before extra tanks!
And you should be able to sell their fighter bay, which has already been done in a plug... and it should have 20 tons of cargo, so that you can at least give it a mass expansion, or do far more missions! And the last thing, it should appear larger on the map with a density scanner :). If all that was done it would be a ship you wouldn't leave :)!
I agree that they did a good job with the strands - but it really does get annoying when you get 18 azdaras coming your way - whatever ship you're flying! Especially compared with 6 Zidagar fighters from 3 Zidaras.. or 0 nothings from 3 Igazras :)!

The Zidagar are good.... but, I have beef with the phased beamer. It really sucks, especially on a ship with such a small amount of fuel, like the Zidara
However, Ziggy tech is something to be ph34red. It might even stand up to the Aggy tech. The Ziggy ECM system makes you pretty much invincible to fired weapons, and the free space made me drool when I got it. However, not being able to fly around in a good, solid, gövt ship is what makes me go for the Iggies or the Aggies whenever I play.
